This game is a hidden gem. I've logged 240 hours on a single character and multiple hours on others. This game always finds a way to pull me back in. It's just a super chill game. Nice to sit in bed with some Oreos and listen to some dnd podcasts while I grind, harvest and build. I built a massive kingdom on rainbow island and it has taken me years to build. I suggest this over Minecraft everytime.

With the dlcs they are combinations of the regular classes so while if you don't get them you lose some fun you aren't losing any utility from the classes. The classes being locked is annoying due to getting loot you can't use but most people don't use the dlcs that often anyway

Also i wish they add some animals to add to your home island. They have pets but i wish they add bigger animals cows sheep stuff like that. To make your home island more lively. They let you take some people home with you but they dont do anything they just stand there. It would be cool if they would walk around and interact with your builds.

i used to have this on xbox. It is actually a masterpiece so underated

The best value is to buy the legendary edition. I will be buying that because I got around tonllaying the base game which I bought a while back. Now I'm engrossed, so I will aim to get the legendary edition in the next Steam sale. That includes the 2 expansions giving the 2 new classes and the new game modes, plus the other vanity items DLC etc. That works out cheaper than buying just the 2 majkr DLC expansions for new classes and game modes.

@@harry3226 Playin seven, haven't gotten to the worm boss yet. But that's because I'm just chillin n building. Got a giant ugly starter house(I hate rebuilding my home later because it's to small), a farm, and working on lil npc homes.

I’m pretty sure the game got an update because every loot drop I get is for a Druid (my class) so we don’t have the problem with the loot

I played this game a few years ago and it was great. I had a ton of fun roaming in this expansive world. I would 100% recommend playing this game. It was definitely a lot more fun with friends along the way though it’s good in single player as well.

The paid dlc doesnt just add classes, it adds more dungeons, 2 new races etc. Just look at the trailers for them. They arent even that expensive so its not that bad at all.

Mr Shuffle the reason they most likely did it is because they made it a free game for ps+ way back and since everyone already has the game that can’t really make much more off of sales hence they made dlc for new classes

Yes, I get it. They need to make money and im totally fine with that. It did not lower my rating a lot because I get it, they are a small company after all.. buut I believe there could have been other ways of making money .. But SlamBoi was right, you do get a lot of other stuff with the DLC. If you asked me i think that the best thing they could do is add other locations but set the classes for free. But it is my opinion and I know a lot of people will not agree with me but I wanted to be 100% honest.

The only drawback with the dlc is putting classes behind paywalls which honestly is a bad practice. I get it, they have to make money. But locking essential things like classes behind a paywall is honestly greedy

Shameer 2405 They released the legendary edition with all dlc in it last month for £24.99 (or your regional equivalent) its pretty reasonable and as stated before the dlc is not outrageously expensive.

The reason the two classes need to be paid for is because they weren't originally there. The game made a feature later with a new world and charcters to choose from, which is why you have to buy them. I'm an OG at this game, me and my brother have played it for a couple years lol, and quite recently he got the extra stuff. Its pretty cool! But uh I was just explaining why you have to buy two of the classes- (and btw warriors are the best 👌)

I know those classes were not originally there, but I still think they could have done other things that would give them profit and not put one of the main aspects of the game behind the paywall, we all want to try all the classes, some just don't have enough resources to do so.. I still think the game is amazing tho and I love playing it in my spare time. I'm really glad that you and your brother are having fun at it too! It's trully a hidden gem, this game haha.

@@MRShuffle what’s the point in dlc if it’s not worth it. Buying extra classes for more game time is fine by me. You do get loot for the extra classes even if you don’t have them so that you don’t have to grind more time for the loot and you can always re-roll worlds for more loot grinding

This sounds more like a tutorial then a review

This game does not get the attention, praise and sales it deserves. THIS IS SUPER SUPER SUPER GREAT GAME IN ALL OF RPGS IN THE 2010'S DECADE! Until now I play this game because of many character classes. A RPG that is good for adults and kids. I consider this RPG as a RPG for the entire family.

One thing you did miss with the story is how in npc dialogue you get lore but still great video I love this game thanks for the recommendation

Dang I wish they would keep supporting and expanding on this game? I’ve never played it but after watching your video it seems really good but the only red flag for me is you beat the game and it’s done fast. If only there was like an end game etc.

Lately as of today I just purchased this game off the Google Playstore for 4.99$ and yet, once I did, it kept crashing. :( I'm so upset because the gameplay and graphics are so good and I wanted to finish the story, but the crashing won't let me.

@@MRShuffle I'm 3 months late, but yes! I've emailed the developers about their recent bugs and the problem has been solved. I've been playing it really well right now for Android, using a Samsung and an Ipega controller. :)

@@MRShuffle I do believe in odds and reason I never like Ryzen/AMD products base just on how many KZreadrs I seen with problems around this brand. But save files been corrupted ain't nothing new, I seen the issue before on other games specially on RPG games where save file usually increase as you increase inventory and character stats. like I was saying, I just suggested to repeat a good line I heard before "Didn't happen to me and it might be already fix by the time you watch this video".

I played this game unlocked the main worlds and finished the main missions except the hard mode bosses and the new dlc. I just dont see the point of replaying or continuing to play. They need to add more exploration aspects maybe some rare hidden weapons. The amount of loot is annoying cuz theres just so much of it and most of it is so useless. I payed like 11 bucks for this game and i got my moneys worth so im done with this game. It would be cool if they added free updates to the game and not just payed dlc.

I can only say pprtal knights is very good i did got it 2017 and in my land germany it did get the game of the year in germany 2017

It totally should be a ps4 an ps5 exclusive it's like only 7 bucks on ps4 store well worth it and in my opinion i wish there was more worlds it leaves me wanting more to explore even though I barely touched the surface with this game still.

There really shouldn’t be an issue with the classes being locked behind dlc. Normally this is a problem because companies will rush out a game and sell the finished product as dlc or rerelease. That’s not what’s happening here. The two classes are each part of a respective dlc expansion that actually adds a unique experience to the game that wasn’t in the finished product. So it’s fine. Also, rating so low for that alone seems kinda harsh.

The problem is the game is litteraly forcing you to buy the dlc every second. half the items you get tell you you need dlc to use them. even if you dont have the dlcs the items are there and very annoying and you accidentaly things that require and they dont tell you that before crafting

Agreed about loot boxes you can't open because you don't have the DLC. That's plain wrong to have such lootboxes. Classes in separate DLCs... that's nothing unheard of. IMHO: add new world regions and adventures as DLC, not classes. If you only have 5 classes and 2 of them from DLC... that's rather nasty, agreed.

Beard on female characters? Fantastic. That means I can make a dwarven women.

You can’t use some items because you aren’t that class, nothing to do with the DLCs, also the DLC is only $15 last time I checked

every game has dlc so just deal with it because they want to make more money i'm fine with that. that is just like saying "aw dam i have to pay for this game i can't get it for free, i'm buying the dlc today. All in all i don't hate you man keep making videos and getting better have a great day.

Tbh, once I found this duping method I found, you pretty much beat the game, but I found that after I already got everything maxed out for all five classes I’m also not sure why but most of the items or general content from this game has been nerfed or renamed

There are a lot of islands, and you can choose the size of them, so I would say it's pretty big !

@@kingknightboss To late, I got it new the game isn't 4k enhance but it does make it difference since I have Xbox one X. more graphics power and yes i see difference when i put it in 1080p first it looks so good but thought it having in 4k could make it better?! and so it did. The Power of the Xbox one X :)

Mr Shuffle when I played, the game had a severe impact on my computer’s performance even when it wasn’t running and half the time I had to close it using task manager because the autosave feature is bugged and can’t be turned off and that eventually led me to temporarily losing my save file
