Well, you know Hydraulic, Wheatley was corrupted by the main frame's need for testing and power. The newfound power combined with Wheatley's small self esteem and confidence turned him evil. He went, in two seconds, from a defenseless, unwanted, seemingly "worthless" (to himself and other Aperture employees) and never being listened to, never being given the time of day, to being a massive super computer where he controlled literally everything in the facility and was always listened to. Not to mention the uncontrollable urge to test. That's got to do something to your mind. Prime example: once GLaDOS was out of the computer, she became nicer, your friend, discovered her humanity, became your ally, everything Wheatley had once been. I bet if Wheatley had gotten out of the computer and not thrown into space, he would've gone back to what he was. And been deeply, genuinely sorry.

If it was canon, it would be quite understandable of Weatley to betray Chell later in the game XD

I truly do wish that Wheatley accompanied you the entire game until he was corrupted. I mean sure, if he was talking the entire time that'd get old fast, but I think I'd prefer it better if he just followed you around and gave a comment or a suggestion here and there. That was AWESOME! I know this was a long time ago, but if you ever want to continue, fine by me.

4:20 the way the test subject tries to shove wheatly in there was absolutely funny

2:44 I knew he was going to throw Wheatley there

I think he used the easteregg where you can see Wheatley peaking out of the walls and the fact you can actually take him out and bring him in any test because he won't die when he goes through the thing that ensures that test objects don't get smuggled.

Wheatley is really just a helpless, tormented soul put in charge of keeping humans alive past their limits. You know at the end when he flies off into space screaming "Grab me! Grab me! Grab me!" I actually felt bad for the guy. Even when he was being evil, he was still pretty funny

If somebody made this a mod, it would be funny any time you tried to kill him, He would say "Wake up!" and he's back in your Hands

Just a tip: You're using Wheatley's "broken eye" model from after GlaDOS crushes him. You should probably use the other model because this hasn't happened yet in the storyline. Other than that, awesome!

if you look before his rail explodes (0:07) his eye isn't broken but when he falls on the floor (0:11) his eye is broken

***** The Material Emancipation Grid Only allows organic material. The Companion cube, however, can go through the Grid. I have a theory. Wheatley watched over humans right? He may be covered with tiny ounces of blood from the humans who were killed by turrets. Anyway, everyone knows that all the people were killed by Neurotoxin. Well you're wrong. Some people were killed by GLaDOS. Now you should probably report this comment for it to be too long to read by people. I wrote this comment so long because I'm a kid and I'm so hyper active LOL.

But it can burn turrets, and turrets are Aperture Science Robots too, right? So wouldnt that mean it would burn Wheatley, too?

Rick McCord Cores have management functions, as with real businesses managers have extended rights. Turrets how ever have no reason to leave a test chamber, thus are not authorized to pass through the emancipation grill. Aside from that, in Aperture Science logic needs not apply.

This is brilliant. at first I was thinking this must be a real mod I did not know about. and was just amazed by the advanced triggering system of so much dialogue.
