When you thought, there's a little additional co-op mode, but instead Portal 2 gave you another whole campaign you could play with friends. Not to forget the trilions of maps the fans created for this game. Man... never 'gonna forget Portal 2.

Am I the only one that thinks they look adorable? Edit: 2024, they’re still cute, and this game is still a masterpiece. One thing I don’t think enough people give credit to is the learning curve: just like most games Portal 2 does get more difficult as the game goes on, but the rate at which it gets more difficult isn’t steep, it’s always consistent and steady. No other game I can think of does that quite as well as Portal 2

It's floating. If you check frame by frame (or 0.25x speed) you see it moves independently from the floor below You can also see its shadow

it was for me, i bought original orange box and was amazed by portal 1, when portal 2 came out it felt like a totally new game engine and loved it right away

This was me and my brother back in the day Good times he would play Atlas and I would play P-body and have a kind of rivalry about science collaboration points, more steps and Rock Paper Scissors in the later levels that turned into serious teamwork

I was always Atlas, and my brother was P-Body, and because co-op games were always our favorites, this was basically *perfect*

Things I love about these two in this animation - - P-body constantly bouncing on his feet like a nervous wreck - Atlas looking genuinely scared he just killed his friend, and being ecstatic when he learns he didn't - P-body being able to do a 360 with his body and almost always turns his body way before his legs - Them being so confident at the end and then immediately dying - THEIR VOICES ARE PERFECT

This is by far the only trailer that I can return to nearly 10 years later & still get the chillz from glados's perfect voice & the BANGER music. God this trailer is perfect.

12 years, and this video is still getting comments. That's how you know that Portal is truly a wonderful series.

Granted, that was only for the final boss fight. Besides, the Moon was in clear view; the portal-able surface isn't so seeable. Besides, the crushers and lasers could interfere with the portal beam shot.

That's funny, I didn't see it. They only thing that came close to one is the orange-yellow surfaces and those are already proven to be un-portalable surfaces.

There’s something so satisfying about Valve trailers, the music and visuals are so amazing.

2020 still lives on to be the best single and co op game

10 years later, still the best co-op experience on the market.

I love how although Valve can make some sweet, gritty FPS games, they can also move away from that and make some of the industry's best and most unique puzzle games. That takes skill.

During math test: lets think with portals

I feel like P-Body represents Chell, and Atlas represents Wheatley. Reasons for P-Body: Orange, like Chell's jumpsuit. Feminine like movements. Being Taller. Reasons for Atlas: Blue, like Wheatley's pupil, he's round, like a core and shorter.

I have to say, only using those Cave Jhonson and multiplayer videos in their commercials was sheer genius by Valve, show us what to expect without any spoilers. Great job Valve, keep up the AWSOME work.

Still the best game I ever played and the best coop mode I ever have the chance to experience

Played portal 2 a year ago, picked it up again after buying a copy for a friend, we’re both having a lot of fun with it but we haven’t had a lot of time to play it because of school. Now our schedules are freeing up and I think we’ll be able to play it again next week. Thanks for making such a great game, even a decade from its initial release it’s still a staple of the puzzle genre.

I found a problem with the hub scene (1:11). As Atlas (Blue) and P-Body (Orange) run towards the closed doors you can see a Portal gun hovering beside them. I highly doubt this is an easter egg but just a small slip up. Its easier to find if you use full screen on a computer but you might have a chance to be able to see it on a tablet.

2022 and graphics really haven't improved a whole bunch since Portal 2, feels like.

I dreamt that I played portal 3 last night. I’ve never been so disappointed to wake up.

I like how you can see a blend of the assets from Portal 1 and 2, as well as the old design of the faith plate.

This single trailer contains more charisma than sometimes a full game could.

I remember seeing this trailer when I was 11 years old. I had never seen such a neat-looking game. For my 12th birthday, I asked for Portal 2. My parents got me it...and along with it, came Steam. That was the beginning of a long, and (mostly) happy relationship...
