Portable Air Compressors: Deep Dive
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I've gone over the Werther air compressors before, but now its time to really dive deep into them. It's amazing to see the difference between all three types of air compressors and just how quiet they can be. I'll be offering both the quiet and silent Werther compressors as standalone and with kits.

Once again another relaxing video. Really think it’s cuz you aren’t all over the place, and know what you’re talking about and what you are going to talk about. I hate when KZreadrs are all over the place and scrambled it makes it hard to watch. But this is just easy to watch and informative. Thanks for the quality content.
Great Video as Usual! These Saturday morning talks are Food my Soul and Sanity in these crazy times! I Appreciate you Bro!
Matt your KZread channel is must see tv!! Thanks for your obsession, it’s fun to watch!!!
Been waiting for this video. Good job man!
Don't apologize for showing us all of that awesome 'obsessed level' stuff. Then we have something to wish for ;)
Great video... i've been on the quiest for the quiestest compressor ever since I bought my first one last year. I landed on the cat for the price nothing is quieter but that white one is hands down the quietest at below 60db.
Thank you for the walk through. Now begins my process of thinking about these for months, being continually annoyed at my current pancake, then finally ordering one.
God you don’t know how many times I’ve heard the phrase “Deep Dive” on my companies conference calls the last few weeks.. must be the hot corporate jargon right now
Matt… those blow guns look awesome! I’m always on the look out for a smaller compact blow gun with a protected nozzle tip. Didn’t know you had these. My question is in on the blue non-scratch & Euro high flow non-scratch guns. When the spec says 11oz. and 9oz. respectively, it that the power of the air discharging out the tip, so only 11 oz. of weight is pushing out at that 87 psi? And would you know how how long the green handle is on the Euro high flow blow gun? Leaning towards that one just because of how compact it looks. Just want to see if my hand would fit okay on that handle. Thank You!
Just curious, do you recall what db you were getting while talking during your test? For comparison
Just for comparison, what was the SPL level of the old Jenny compressor from about the same distance.
Video on the Wallair soon? Thinking of buying one to go with the PCL Accuair 1 I just bought from you today.
Matt I cannot get my Hexplus discount code to work on the website just signed up for the membership today. I need to get an order placed today and the email response is fairly slow. It says the discount code is not available to you right now.
Not sure how high end your going but makita makes some good ones. Good video thanks matt
Just ordered everything you said Matt! Where are the green Prevost Stoflex hoses? You dont sell them any more? Thanks man! Looking forward to not going to the gas station any more!
So the P50-24AL 110V/60HZ (white) compressor was delivered with a male to male adapter. Same threads on both sides. Caliper shows .52 to .51" on each side so must be NPT. But this adapter won't thread into the Prevost quick detach female end. The male end of a Prevost QD fitting is 1/4" but calipers larger at .53 at the base to .52" at the end. The Prevost male 1/4" end does not thread into the compressor. The male to male .52/.51" does thread in to the compressor about half way before resistance is felt so it seems to be meant for the compressor input which makes sense since it came with the compressor. So what size is this adapter meant for? Do I thread a female Prevost green button QD directly onto this adapter that came with the compressor? The difference in diameter and the difficulty threading this adapter into the Prevost QD female end makes me think the thread pitch is different. How did Matt transition from the compressor to the Prevost QD to the hose?
The accessories are the ones 🙏🏼
Is the silent one the one you showed Tommy or the rotory one. Or both lol. I think it was both. Anyways. That thing is ridiculously quiet. I might need one lol
how much prise
Lately been looking at getting a compressor to blow out pads but also to use with a Tornador. But the recommended CFM for Tornador is about 6 CFM. Are there any other models you plan to check out that can meet Tornador spec ?

They work fine with a Tornador. That's mainly what I use with these compressors.

Dude makita mac 5200 ..thats what I have...amazing quality and runs 7cfm at 90 psi...Tornador is the reason I got that compressor and I’m glad I did...I did a few weeks of research and the makita is the only “portable” style that produces those type of numbers..yes 2&1 cfm will go threw the gun but is it going to be as effective at that big of a difference
Damn, it's a great video...
IMO, and maybe you already are, but you need to revisit the choice about California Air(CA). CA could be a the entry/id-tier option, à la Comet pressure washers. It's awesome you're doing air compressors, and I liked learning more from you on the topic. My CA 8010 is easily one of my fav garage items. Awesome for drying, pad blow out(tho Yvan says it's not great for foam), and last checking my tires after every wash. I may have to break down and break the bank on some Provost stuff for it.

I don't know man. I thought I wanted them, but their website is really janky. I've had my hands on a half dozen of them, and they were all a mess. If you can't hire and focus energy to make a website, I'm not sure how you could make a great product.

I can respect that, and counter with I did not buy your Mosmatic wand & foam cannon setup due to your purdy site. Nope I bought it because your effort in finding the right product so it's a shame to hear the CAs you've gotten a hold of were a mess. Runs counter to what I've experienced.
can you please post a pic of the air blow gun drawer on your insta, that looks amazing
Just a thought. Take extra pads with you to your customers house, make no noise at all. Now that’s professional. Clean your pads at home.
Hurray for rotary compressor in the works.
White version is a Fridge compressor ? ...

Remember how I tested like 75 pressure washers last year? Well...the good old published specs weren't exactly accurate. Do you think compressed air specs are any different? These all perform in the real world and are built very differently than cheaper alternatives. Don't be that guy that offer opinions on something you clearly have no experience testing.

@@ObsessedGarage .I look forward to the video of the 75 air compressors!
Not my intention to offend anyone, but spending 1800.00 on a compressor to blow up tires and blow out pads. Not even a “consider” ation

I think youre probably in the wrong place. Matt mentions that MSRP is higher and these are made in Italy. There is always some moron saying his Timex for 20 bucks keeps good time on a Rolex video. Please go somewhere else or just keep your mouth shut.
