Porsche Cayenne 958 Rear Brake Service Like a Pro 🔧 Air Gap Adjustment, Calibration and Grinding-In!

Rear brake service & replacement for Porsche Cayenne 958.
I will show you how to replace your rotor, pads, adjust the airgap for the rear parking shoes, and complete the grinding-in and calibration procedure.
*Note - if your parking brake is in service mode, you MUST have a scanner capable of completing the grinding-in and calibration process. There is no other way to exit the service mode without the proper tool.

Which way did you push the gear? Left or right? Mine are way too loose but I have a 955 so it’s manual and you cant use the diagnostic tool. It looked like you spun it to the right to open the gap it but I’m not sure. I’m guessing it’s the reverse direction on the other side.

Try again but do the calibration first. See if that resolves the issue.

This is the Launch X431 mini, roughly $1200. You might want to check if the iCarsoft Porsche scanner can do it. That scanner is around $200 and can do most Porsche functions. You’ll have to contact ICarsoft to confirm that function.
