Porsche Cayenne 955 Rear Hatch Gas Struts Replacement
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Having a big heavy SUV rear hatch fall on my head when I am trying to load the weekly shop into it is not fun. Thankfully replacing the weak gas struts is quite an easy job - here's how to do it.

SWAMPY: Thanks for watching and we all love it when someone can get some use out of our experiences :) Have you replaced your own struts now?
Just done mine 👍spot on now. Went in after some bellend had tried it before I purchased the car🤔looks like they tried one side got pissed off with job after only replacing the hatch ram and not the glass one and didn’t reseal the foam cover (plastic on mine)left it loose so the load space carpet was always wet after rain ,works a treat now and closes a lot softer👍

Not an awful job but it does require some patience - it’s worth it just not to have that heavy hatch land on your head!! 🤣 Nicely done!! (Scotty)

Don't be put off - it's a little fiddly and awkward, but it's really not such a bad job (Scotty).
Thanks for Video nice work . Very nice 🏎
What a kerfuffle 😎
Hi, I think you should remove the floormats in both driving and passenger side. There are some connections there thats usually gets coroded and then you can get those (and more) codes. Search for it and you will find a lot of info. BR Robert
