Porsche 996 RS & RSR - Best 911 sound ?

Because the sound of the new 2017 Porsche 991 RSR reminds me alot of the 996 RSR I dove into my archive and made a compilation of the 996 RS and RSR racecars.
Still one of the best 911 sounds.
Most of the clips were recorded in 240p and now upscaled to 720p.
996 GT3 RSR specs:

A great compilation here dude! They all sound great and I love how various a flat-6 can sound with a different exhaust config. But I'm still for the "dark" and low roumble of the 996 RSR

Old 996 sounds so great ! The new GTE one sounds quite similar !
NA gt1 engine mm sounds so good
Definitely love the Porsche 911 GT Racers better when the Exhausts aren't close together, makes that lovely noise that's not too far off the old 934.
I did not believe in love at first sight 😰
Some like 0:19 have such a bassy powerful roar, that's my favourite and yeah similar to the 2017. I liked the 997 GT3 as well, but it's a more screaming smooth sound.
996 is best
Those things were monster back in the day. remember seeing one race here in the BGTC run by Leeds based team Embassy Racing and i feel in love straight away.
