It does take some getting used to when you've never been that fast. It's always scary the first time at any speed you've never been to before. But after that it just gets more FUN. As long as you're not losing control, that is.

Just a pity Chris she did not get to experience the run down from La Source to Eau Rouge! 2nd best track I have been to outside the ring. Nice driving!

Done 15 track days at Spa nothing comes close lucky enough to get a few laps in a GT3 nice driving Chris

I hope you know.. that this car doesn't produce as much downforce that it comes into effect how fast you take the turn... this is not an F1 or LMP here.. this car is still on the "normal side" of physics :) .. but non the less slowing down up eau rouge... well you can do it but only in a very gentle manner... doing it wrong/abrubtly and so on... will bite you.. but that has to do with vehicle dynamics... (weight transfer and so on) ... not because of aerodynamics...(in a car like this)

€400 for three laps is cheap when you consider the cost of the car and the pro driving it.

"Passenger" rides should NEVER be done by "racing" drivers, but by Instructors. At least they drive the car at 80% (which is more than enough for the poor woman); they also tell the customer what they're going to do (don't show the top speed in a straight line when your "customer" is clearly in distress!). And the don't hit the brakes that violently. The purpose is to build confidence and pursuade the passenger it's all very safe... Not to scare them sh**less.

Hi, its the passenger speaking :) I am not sure if you did, but if you watch the video until the end, you can see how happy I actually am... And you would've heard us talk about the previous lap we did, where he actually says that this time we were going faster. So yes, the first time he did take it slow with me. I have known the driver for a very long time (we have been friends for years and years), know all about his extensive racing career and I trust him completely. I would never have gotten in to his car (twice!) if I didn't feel safe. And of course I was scared, but I think it should be compared with going on a rollercoaster or jumping out of an airplane with a parachute... Oh, and we did talk about what was going to happen during the ride. We actually agreed on a sign (me waving my hand up and down) that means I want him to slow down. I have used it a couple of times and whenever I tell him to slow down, he actually does (you can even hear in the video that he takes his foot of the pedal when I ask him to)

Hey Nicster, Thanks for the reply. Great that you trust your driver; most certainly that you've known him for years. Obviously that changes a lot. But you seemed very stressed... which made me -as a demonstration driver- feel very uncomfortable. Have a great day and enjoy your next ride!

@@nicster8558 This was a long time ago, but I just love how you settled in and started to enjoy it. For most people it takes a few laps to realize "wow, I can actually survive this", then the fun really begins.
