That's awesome!! Haha! I'm big into rally/rallycross and he's one of my favorite drivers. I would've been giggling like a little school girl! Looks like a lot of fun!!

Couldn't help but notice that Tanner is in full fire protection gear and you're not and you weren't strapped in tight enough since you were thrown around in your seat soooo... THAT MUST HAVE BEEN SO MUCH FUN!!!! Good for you and thanks for sharing. BTW I'd love to try that and then get a lesson in rallycross driving ;)

It’s always fun watching a true driver perform his craft. He is wearing that car more than driving it. The way he moves his arms about the ebrake, shifter and steering wheel along with his legs on the accelerator, clutch, and brake requires no conscious thought whatsoever and is as fluid as possible.

Loved the mixture of excitement, fun and sheer terror on your face! Should have been strapped in much tighter but I think the mechanic was being a gentleman. Pull on the straps yourself next time.

The cars in the SuperCar class have immense acceleration. 0 --> 100 kph in under two seconds. 600 bhp, 4WD, no turbo lag and sequential, six-speed box.

That wasn't lost on me -- he looks like he's ready for a full-on race! But his racing suit wasn't so much to protect him, it was meant to make the experience "realistic." The drivers are so experienced that hooning around like this is easy for them and pretty safe for the ride-along guests.

I think somebody was I timidated by the pretty girl and didn't make sure her harness/seat belt was right enough ;-)

It's pretty easy to meet him. Attend a GRC race - the pits are open before races so you can meet any of the drivers. At SEMA (where this video was taken), you stand in line after signing a waiver at the Ford Racing booth and wait your turn. This year at SEMA it was harder to get a ride with Tanner - I think most of the people who rode with him were media. The next time Top Gear does an audience taping, get a free ticket through on-camera-audiences.com and you might get to meet him after the taping.

Her seat was pretty much loose, his tight...

This is nothing compared to ridinig along in a rally car, narrow gravel roads in 200kmph

I can not believe the guy did not get her belts done up properly. The were so loose they basically useless

I see SO MANY THINGS WRONG HERE…she has no gear on except an i’ll firing helmet, no fire suit, no gloves, a lose five point safety harness. Tanner is most likely only going half speed, but crap CAN happen in and to a race car.
