Ran out of screen wash. Nice one RB. So I tried it at my local Mini dealer (As I have a Cooper S!). Didn't quite have the same affect... So into the Dealership I walked. Full of confidence as I've just seen RB get a GT3 RS. So I said "I've run out of screen wash and I need screen wash so I want you to refill it for me". They looked a tad perplexed. Then I asked if I could have a loan for the day. I needed a set of wheels. Nothing unusual I thought. "The new Clubman JCW would do me nicely. Thanks!" It took a few seconds for my words to sink in... And then the laughter started. Only a couple small chuckles to start, but soon building up to a deafening crescendo as more and more of the staff were told of my wish and came to see who had asked such a question. After 5 minutes and with the staff still incapable of doing anything (Even some bloody customers had joined in too!) because... Err... Well... Let's just say they were mainly rolling on the floor, I decided that my best plan of action would be to quietly siddle out of the building without being seen. And go to Halfords for some screen wash. I'd have refill it myself. So. RB. I have to ask you this. I did exactly what you did in this video. So what went so drastically wrong?

ha ha - love it, !! go back and do what I did in the unseen footage - accidentally drop £150k on the floor next to the desk and then walk away from it.

My next oil change is def going to be at that dealership.

As always a great little review, how you talk staff at porsche Chester into acting for the camera always makes me laugh !! He seemed to of played the part with pleasure 😂 I’ll still settle for a 996 GT3 !! One day 🤞

Haha! Great review and I loved the part of the video where you were wandering around looking for the car and pushing the keyless remote. Very clever and funny :-) I'd love to see you review a 991.2 GT3 manual. That is my favorite Porsche of all time. I'd take it over any car in the world at any cost except a McLaren F1 and maybe the upcoming Gordon Murray T50.

No doubt about it the GT3 RS is a real weapon. I enjoyed the video from the tongue in cheek piece with the service reception guy right through to the mash the pedal & give it the beans. Roger I like your videos but I want to give you my honest feedback though, others may disagree. My introduction to Porsche started about two years ago with the purchase of a 718 Cayman S. I loved that car so felt I wanted a 2018 991.2 GT3 so we were given an allocation and we saw a 2016 GT3-RS for sale at the dealership and asked the sales manager if we could swap the GT3 allocation for a 2019 991.2 GT3-RS allocation. Fortunately, we got the allocation and had the car for about 6 months and to be frank I felt the 3RS was more show than go and was power deficient. So I traded the 3RS for a 2018 991.2 GT2-RS with delivery miles. To keep it short the 2RS is both show and go, it’s the real deal. A word of advice if I had to do again and I could not afford the 2RS I would have been happy with the .2 GT3 since it has only 20hp less than the 3RS.

GT2 RS looks interesting to say the very least, GT3 would be my pick also however that Cayman S really takes some beating for fun per mile ! you've been fortunate to have had some fantastic cars, thanks for sharing this Albert.

@@RogerBaileyOnCars Agree regarding the 718 Cayman S it was a little road rocket. When I test drove the 718 I, in fact, passed on a new 2017 991.2 Carrera S with the Sports Package for 718, the low end torque is absolutely amazing.

Nice showoff as usual! However personally i do think there are more elegant looking models from Porsche & others than this. Then again its a purists track car, so i suppose there have to be some payoff. Imean if your Porsche, maby you know your costumer will probably buy one of each (or more) Is the strategy. Dont you think..? 😇 😉

What are you taking about? Is this 2016 ? This is 2019. Now we all know that “no fewer made” but they made 5000 and price dropped to below retail, almost the same as “unwanted” turbo S from the same year. They made more 991.1 gt3rs than 991.1 targa’s..”can take anything”? This car is slower than a 991.1 turbo s, on the track and the ring..

and yet you dont see many Turbo S in the Nordschleife queue but plenty of GT3 and GT3 RS in both 991.1 and 991.2 flavours.

@@th3b0untyhunter Of Course, because they made SO many of them. It's pretty sure they made "just" as many or even fewer turbo S, year relatively ! 2 type of people bought the 3/3rs- 1. He saw on KZread (i say "he" because a woman is too smart to fall for it) it's the "hottest", "coolest" 911 and turbo S is "boring", now he has a car (paid more in grey market) that got demolish by teen neighbor golf GTI and make an embarrassing sound (compared to its visible speed)- he must hit the truck. 2. He/She who really appreciate the agility of the gt3 and use it on the track as the fancy go kart it is.

Talk too much . Drive the thing . Period . End of story
