The best 16mins of my life

I like all of Poppy's albums, but this EP has the best arrangement, it's the most brutal. Particularly placing The Holy Mountain right after Meat and Scary Mask. It adds so many new layers of meaning to all of three songs. Gosh, it hits me like a brick wall. It's beautiful, holy and deeply horrible, like something out of a Dostoevsky novel or Pink Floyd's The Wall, but very 2020s.

The entirety of "Choke" is absolute perfection. Every note, every pause, every sound is exactly where it should be. From Choke through The Holy Mountain... it's just right. She will save us all.

This ep will always be amazing

It's genuinely my favorite EP of all time, it crushes my soul, it's so visceral and raw, I love how she becomes existentialist in the last few songs, feels like someone suffering in a cruel world.

Choke - she got strangled by someone attacking her Voicemail - she tried calling the police but their voicemail was full Scary mask - she turns over to see her killer in a mask Meat - she got madurdered and cannibalized The holy mountain - she went to heaven Just something I thought sounded cool it might sound stupid to y’all but who cares
