When the strawberry biscuit became an item at my local Popeyes I tried it and didn't like it at all, went to the Popeyes in the nicer side of town recently and ordered it again just because I wanted something sweet, it was SO much better when the people making it actually cared, night and day difference, soft, fluffy and sweet, vs cold hard and flavorless

Cook here. The gp wings vary from batch to batch and same goes for location. I've had managers tell me "only use half the bag of seasoning, it's too spicy" completely missing the point of the wings. Size varies wildly too, same with the bone in chicken.

I use to work at Popeyes and my move for lunch was to mix the ghost pepper and spicy mixes together and and make tenders with no batter and just that mix so fire

People are just used to the size of those giant ass wings from wing specific restaurants. Otherwise Popeyes is normal sized. KFC's are smaller.

What I find is that most reviewers get it wrong when it comes to spicy food of fast food chains. They complain it's not hot enough or it's not burning their tongue or whatever. It is supposed to be just hot than the regular one. Companies want everyone to try it and keep coming back for it, instead of just selling once to you and you not ordering again because it was too hot
