My goal with this channel is to help you make more money and improve your personal finances. How to become a millionaire? There are many ways to get there - investing in the stock market, becoming a stock trader, doing real estate investing, or why not becoming an entrepreneur? But whether you are interested in how to invest in stocks or investing strategies for creating passive income with rental properties - I hope to be able to provide you with a solution (or at least an idea) here. Warren Buffett - the greatest investor of our time - says that you should fill your mind with competing ideas and then see what makes sense to you. This channel is about filling your mind with those ideas. And in the process - upgrading your money-making toolbox.

Very nice summary of my favorite book of all time. I return to it again and again. For those who are especially interested, I also recommend reading Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Annual Letters, and watching/listening to the annual meetings on youtube (which I'm doing now.) For the average investor (by definition most people) then the best course of action to 'Not being stupid' is to not try to beat the market. Invest in the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF or All world ETF. If 80 percent of so called experts fail to beat the market, why should the rest of us even try? Psychologically it's far easier to make regular contributions to an ETF than to try to pick individual stocks. As an index ETF investor I WELCOME falls in the market the same as I'd welcome lower food prices..

Hey Erik what should I do i am completely on unprepared for life. I didn’t learn anything in school and I feel like everything I learned in school has fallen out of my head or maybe I didn’t really learn anything school that stuck and now I’m a 30 year old man with not that much knowledge I’ll say my education level is at fifth grade at best I literally forgot how to spell fifth. I know for a fact that I would have a very hard time trying to make it in the real world. I don’t know how to support myself like a functional adult.😔😢 what do you think I should do? I’m helpless on my on. And i am at the mercy of my relatives. I have more say but I’m going to save it.
So Charlie's #3 could currently be interpreted as "Don't go on a tour of an active volcano in the Bay of Plenty."
Just asked myself that question, I guess it would be telecommunication, real estate and Industrials.
And I’ve always thought that Lollapalooza Effect was the sense of regret after going to an overcrowded music festival.
Love the videos, ever plan on doing real estate books again?

Why do you avoid Insurance companies?
Charles Munger is more of a businessman than Warren Buffett, Buffet is the friendly face in Berkshire Hathaway. Munger loves to get down to business and point the elephant in the room. @@XOPOIIIO It all comes down to what type of investing strategy you use. Relatively speaking, I have a greater advantage when it comes to the Swedish stocks as I can more easily absorb all the information about them. I know what resources to use etc. Many of them are acting in a global market though, just as you say, and when picking among such companies, international competitors must be studied too. So far, I haven't yet owned a company that wasn't founded in Sweden. While this may change in the future, I would never go into a market such as Asia or Southern America for example. Due to language barriers and a different culture, I'd be at an informational disadvantage.
