It is very odd how the production was so hardcore focused on Bam's sobriety during Jackass 4, yet we've now heard that several members (Poopies, Zackass) were out of their mind on drugs while making it.

I loved how he just said he was embarrassed, and trying to make amends thru rehab. Really seems to be taking this seriously and appreciates the help around him. I love how Paul was the middle man to remind the situation that even though it’s been years and years and years, Steve o wasn’t far off from acting the same or worse previously- as to smooth out/remind poopies & Steve o the story doesn’t sound too unfamiliar while still letting Steve o be straight forward and realistic about what was causing the issues during production and the problematic events that occurred shortly after. Because you could tell Steve o was holding him accountable and hitting it straight on - but it very easily could have seemed/ seemed a bit hypocritical (if someone wouldn’t have mentioned and defused/ made relevance to the fact Steve o was sort of harping on “disregard for production” and yadda yadda) Being in the place he’s earned and seeing it’s been 17 years or whatever it’s been he’s totally earned it and is in a good place to be the one to recognize and call out bluntly someone on their bullshit but Paul came in real clutch with 1 simple and perfectly placed sentence to bring it back to the reality that steveo maybe also needed to hear, because he was by no means being high and mighty with calling poopies out, but he was riding the edge of being condescending/overbearing with the straight forwardness and Paul nailed that. Not to take away from The clear fact steveo, of anyone, is the one who also put in the work for recovery and call a spade a spade but I just thought that was a perfectly placed, sort of ever so slight midigation, by Paul

But I would never have been in the position to be told no before I got sober. This hurts but I will be in Manila in January, so life is still great. I will find my love. I wouldn't be out here looking for love and crying over love if I was back home getting high. I'm still very happy even though this rollercoaster is slinging me around. Blessings are sad sometimes.

Bro. Trust me, things change when you go decades with docotrs pushing pills down your throat. You dont want them because of how they make you feel , then you become dependent. Then your brain tells you that you NEED IT because the doctors got you on it, which we thought was "okay"... Its so hard to explain but street drugs and prescription addictions are totally different. I can tell you about my story if you want.. I have never in my life done cocaine, meth, heroin, any street drug besides cannabis and mushrooms, but I was taking 20-30 oxycodone a day (after 9 surgeries and 19 broken bones, i had thousands of them) Then i got put on clonazepam. So I was prescribed legal heroin and benzos and given free reign for 10 years. Now i am under addictions councilling/doctors. I am tapering off methadone and all - ALL of this is because of a piece of shit doctor who ended up getting taken to court for over-prescribing me.

Man hearing poopies describe an unintentional fentanyl overdose is wild for me. I was addicted to fentanyl itself for years. And he hit the nail on the head. One minute, you're doing your little key bump or whatever, then just nothing. The blackest of black darkness overtakes your vision and you just die on the spot basically. He's lucky to be alive. I've had to be revived by paramedics many times. It's scary as hell to be told "bro you were dead" by a literal doctor. And to then do exactly what poopies did. Sneak out of the hospital, and go pick up more drugs.

I like the old Steveo so much better. Not the junkie, the rebellious skater punk who went against the grain and did n't give a damn about corporate America shit. The time Steveo taped himself to the billboard sign to say f sea world was like foreshadowing. Steveo, became a damn billboard. Sold out to anyone who would pay him to say he loves their product with the signature "yeah dude" catch phrase. Every single episode, every guest appearance on other podcasts, every comedy show, just nonstop plugs. It is the very reason i stopped getting cable tv. I'm not surprised that he's wore out and worn thin. Love you Steveo. I hope you have great holidays and safe travels.

for some reason 9 months to 1 year sober has a crazy high relapse rate for some reason when you would think it would be the opposite because your so close to a year. Also prior to year 3 also is high for some reason. After year 3 things are so much easier.

100% and personally, it was the fact that just a couple weeks or months after quitting ice I was still suffering, that extreme mental anguish was a great daily reminder of what I was getting clean for. A year in to sobriety I'm bored, my mental state is close to "normal" (which isn't good to begin with) and I was able to lie to myself about how bad the withdrawals were long enough to pick up when someone new i met offered. Smoked a couple points in one night, sped myself out and ended up in the hospital with blood pressure and heart rate issues and having panic attacks. Withdrawals were almost as bad as the first time. The depression and anger are so debilitating its insane. Ice really fucks with your head. It's been 2 years and change since that night, I haven't used any drugs besides THC, nicotine, and alcohol since. 3 years with 2 relapses (one night a few months in I did a few lines of H) and I won't even entertain the idea of using again. No pills, hard drugs or psychedelics. I'm almost sure someone could try to hand me something and I'd be able to turn it down, but I'd never risk it by putting myself around someone who might. I tell people it gets easier over time just about every time I talk about sobriety and that being sober is worth the work it takes.

As soon as they mentioned him taking bong rips of flies for $5 i instantly thought of Steve O shoving a rock in his ass for $100 from BAM. Crazy shit like that is so easy to look down on and it's crazy that either of them would do that for the laugh for a video and not be embarrassed but doing it to directly fund their addiction makes it embarrassing... Life's hard dude. Thanks guys.
