BRILLIANT. I loved this pool as a kid and can't wait to have it back again... Long overdue! 😃

It's still in decay It's falling to bits They've done nothing with it I was just there today

Back in the 70s this pool and the beach was packed, seems all the great things on the north east coast were either demolished or underfunded and neglected. Same story in whitley Bay.

Logging in 26th August 2021 and just been to see the dilapidated pool that continues to rot. South Shields has overtaken this by miles.

The North side of the Tyne has died on its arse, pull this eyesore down and send North Tyneside council over to South Shields to see how things are done properly.

Unbelievable £220000 would have saved it.
