+theEINSTEININHO wow. you didn't just say musician, you said artist. most talent artist in the world. I don't know if I'd ever make a statement like that, as I have never heard/seen every artist in the world.
The way the main riff is structured sounds like an audio fractal

That was such an awesome comparison. I definitely agree with you. It's like a cascading repeating stream on notes
Sooo spontaeneous...like a river \m/

You're splitting hairs, the point of the vid is to watch a single musician (or instrument) playthrough the song. So we can see what they are playing instead of looking like a creeper at shows.
Show me the view for the bassist!!!
What model guitar is that??

+Cerebral Landscapes the intro riff after the color comes in is three bars of 4/4 then one bar of 7/8. that riff is repeated twice, then it's three bars of 4/4 and one bar of 15/16 twice. then the djent part after the intro is seven bars of 4/4 and one bar of 7/8. then when the djent part is being played with the piano riff it's three bars of 4/4, one bar of 7/8, followed by three bars of 4/4 one bar of 15/16 repeated twice. then another djent interlude with three bars of 4/4 one bar of 15/16 repeated twice. the next section with the new guitar riff is in groupings of 5 bars, with two bars of 4/4, one bar of 7/8 then two more bars of 4/4, that riff is repeated four times, twice on its own and twice with the bass accompanying it. the breakdown is the same, but instead of the bar of 7/8 in the middle, it's a bar of 15/16. the rest of the song should be easy to figure out with all of this in mind

oh my god, how did you arrive at that?? I tried deciphering for hours to no avail.

subdivision my friend lol. count the eighth notes, not just the quarter notes. that makes it easier to find out bars that are in odd time with the eighth note as the subdivision, like 7/8. then for the 15/16 bars, if you're counting the eighth notes, it'll be clear that it is subdivided even further, and to accurately find those time signatures i counted 1 e and a 2 e and a etc. as this is the 16th note subdivision. so for the 15/16 bar, the counting would be - 1 e and a 2 e and a 3 e and a 4 e and 1, as it is one sixteenth note less than 4/4
Hands as big as Muhammed Suicmez's ;)
Using a 7 string for the leads i see
I wouldn't feel sure if petrucci could play that on his own guitar :/
jesus christ
Please man. There should be notes left for other musicians 😂
