What a fantastic era we live in for tech/prog music!!!!
Just though I'd share a funny story... Last year I went to see these guys open for protest the hero, saw Martin standing at the bar, so I went over and started chatting to him. Told him I was enjoying the guitar videos they were posting etc. And he just casually slipped in "Oh ya, btw I'm playing drums tonight" I legitimately thought he was joking, but sure enough, he got on stage and killed it! Was dumbfounded after that

Is he ever going to play any shows again? I'm dying to see this fucking dude tear this shit up. And the phenomenal musicians who were brave enough to learn his guitar riffs..
It should be illegal for a band this kickass to only have 2 albums
i don't even know how to properly nod my head to this. great work.

So i guess the time signatures for the intro are: 4/4, 4/4, then 15/8... beautiful
It grooves like nobody's business. So good, man.
The two things that realy stood out to me is the drumming and the flowing melody. Great use of counterpoint. I'll be purchasing this album.
Hard enough to master one instrument, dude is beast mode on guitar AND drums.
I LIKE WHAT YOU GOT.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! The groove, feeling, and tone as one is aural pleasure. Keep up the great work! Gotta love Canadian metal. I particularly like at 1:56 the way the lights sync with the beat, mesmerizing.
Watched it now 100 times, still counting...
Interesting. This song sounds almost more like a demonstration of PT's new direction and production than anything. PT's definitely evolving, but there's not enough here before I get really excited. There's a lot of potential here. I'm definitely intrigued and I look forward to hearing more.

+Porcupethtonia I feel it like being "way over progressive", maybe it's just me. I think I can call it Tough Metal |m|,
so clean...
This is insane! I think Cyclic is a very fitting name for this song!
Oh man this sounds so awesome. Feels so good that it sounds different from Entities too. Don't get me wrong, I love the raw power Entities presents to the listener, but this seems to be a evolved Pomegranate Tiger. Cyclic sounds more mature, thought out and still having that core technical stuff that makes Pomegranate Tiger what it is. I really look forward to hear the whole album.
I need a time signature cause this is AMAZING!!!!!!
After the 50th time listening to this song.. it has to be the most glorious thing i have ever heard. Other bands are using these types of time signatures and long measures and whatnot, but, it isnt this. haha I've never been more exited for a new album to come out! If its all stuff like this, I'm home. :P thank you martin for your hard work! I think that your mind has created something new and very special. This is something you just cant do with a group dynamic, making such a massive universe in just one song. Like chimpspanner only better hehe Dont anyone get me wrong though, i have great appreciation for the coming together of minds to create a unique sound and feel. :) cant wait to get my pre-order bundle!!
I am in love with this guys mind... one of those things that goes beyond what we know as music. Very impressive..
pre ordered. i was sitting beside my girl friend when i saw this on my YOutube feed and freaked out. she thought some one i knew had died

Will we ever get more?
Incredible. Full effort from everyone in the band and great great visual effects to compliment the impeccable sound.
So stoked for the album! Rad work, as always.
I can listen to this album over and over and over again.. never gets old man. This guy is a fucking genius.
This band is so underrated this is truly a masterpiece
The visuals are amazing! And the music too!
Jak dla mnie genialne!
Great track, looking forward to the album.
Well That was just insane
I can't use this for studying or reading because I can only use classical music for those activities but I like to listen to this when I workout or ride my bike.

Good stuff. Great to listen to when you're doing homework.
Great song! I always liked PT more than any instrumental band. I dont know I just like their style the most.
yes
Ooow God Thank u Pomegranate Tiger
It flowed well.
what a sick melody
There's very little in the way of instrumental metal music I actually enjoy and find interesting. I really enjoy this track though, it's dynamic and well composed. I'm looking forward to the album.
YES. so much yes.
Niiiiiiiice! Both music and video are awesome!
im so ansious for their new album! loving this new song and video, I fall in loved with their album Entities and I hope to feel the same with their next release. Pomegranate Tiger for life
45th view, and not sure why. This is ridiculously good. Since you gave the last album for real, I will buy this one and spread the word.
Awesome track! :)
Shieeeet 2 years well spent guys!

It's Martin doing all instruments. With a guest bass player on certain tracks. He's a hell of a drummer. Even better lead guitarist. He went to music school so he's very well educated on the insides and outsides of chord structures and progressions.

+TheCrazies Oh for sure, Martin is sickly talented. Virtuoso with multiple instruments! Just wondered what happened and if he planned on doing any more shows with other members. One of my favorite instrumental bands/artist for sure.

+Eric Mohring pretty much he lost a band member a year since 2012 for some odd reason. I wouldn't be surprised if he got picked up by a big time metal core group sometime in the future. Are you aware of a guitarist named Kris Norris? Look up the album "Deliver Us." Its Darkest Hour's magnum opus in my opinion. I would love to see him in a band like Parkway Drive or periphery if they ever lost Holcomb or Bowen.

Pomegranate Tiger, you are ready for worlds domination;)
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could taste the pomegranate. I could hear the tiger. I am the world.
Every muscle in my body wants to move to the sound of the guitar, but also wants to play the drums. Bottom line, does anyone have some salt and melted cheese? I am now a pretzel.
My fucking god, it's amazing
TABS PLEASE AND THANK YOU THE MAIN THEME IS GODLIKE

Festus McBottom I think it's mixed meter, 15 for the total cycle, broken into 8 and then 7 for the whole song.
holy fuck.......
Am I the only one who hears a little chocolate rain in the first 0:15?

I like this one much better than boundless :)
4trippy6me
who did the visuals for this?
The beginning sounds like that chocolate rain song
Next step is orchestration and breakcore elements added to djenty prog metal music = Fasten your belt ( ^ - ^ )
reminds me of animals as leaders music

Chocolate rain
Let me preface this by saying *Entities* is one of my most treasured and adored albums in my collection. With that being said, I was thoroughly and unexpectedly unimpressed with this track. Nothing about it, other than the phenomenal drumming, captured me in the slightest. Of course, I understand this is just a single track teasing the upcoming album. I'm sure the remainder of the tracks will be more inspired than this one. I have to admit this was extremely dull. Nevertheless, I have pre-ordered a copy of *Boundless* and am excited to have a listen at it. Keep doin' what you love, Martin. Cheers.

+Norman Lippold well it makes sense, the track pretty much sounds like the intro to a much longer and more epic song. honestly i didn't check how long the song was and was surprised when the song ended as i really felt it had built up to nothing.
Okay..who gave me acid?
Lol

Djent djent, d d d d d d d d d djent djent djent
as this inspired by dmt?
Why does this sound like a prog version of chocolate rain LOL
Add our own lyrics. here is my start.. Is this the Chorus or the verse? I can not tell did not rehearse. Are we a victim of the curse? Things are progressivly getting worse.
Meh, nothing new. Not bad... though, but just nothing really interesting to me. I've heard this kind of Instrumental stuff like million times... Also... it sounds so awfully synthetic. There isn't any character in that guitar tone. Oh well... better get back listening to Gordian Knot and Exivious.
