that's usually what he does lol. writes riffs by playing pop music backwards and orchestrating it or some other funny shit, then drops an entire 4 minute track 3 years later based around the same riff.

This lot of incredibly talented players deserve way more attention! While what do we get in the so called main stream yeah totally overproduced crap pumped out. While the real music/ musician don’t get nowhere near the attention they deserve. The world is definitely one out of balanced spinning rock in a galaxy of real stars

You do not have to like pop or hip hop but both genres require immense levels of skill and talent to be pulled off successfully, and have had undeniable influences on Polyphia. A lot of the most common musical motifs from those genres have carried over into Polyphia's music such as melodic/rhythmic phrasing and common chord progressions.
