This is a wonderful tutorial! I especially admire the hit and miss, no fuss attitude. I've seen a few tutorials where the instructors were SO particular and precise that they took the fun and enthusiasm out of it. I'm leaving very impressed to go buy some polymer clay, chalk pastels and lace! Thank you Debbie!

haha thanks so much Sinan, I really appreciate your awesome comment. You know I'm certainly not precious about much when it comes to polymer clay - I like the "near enough is good enough" thing and especially love working this way. Have fun with your polymer clay and call out for help if you need it (although there's so much info online nowdays it's not funny) xx

Debbie, I love the way you use the chalk and lace to create these beautiful designs in the clay... I bet you could also use Mica powders to give a metallic sheen...I'm going to try this technique one of these days... TFS :)

Debbie, I am so enjoying your wonderful tutorial series using chalk pastel and lace! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to create and share these with us. Quick question: What is the type of paper you are using? It sounded like "multi-speck," but I've never heard of that. Thanks again for all you do for the polymer clay community!

Hi Susan, I've got a few different brands of chalk pastels - I use the sticks for most applications. Ironlak chalk pastels are my favourites but I also like the Mungyo pastels. Hi all the way from Australia :)

Hi dear! Another brilliant video!! Lol out of curiosity....are you familiar with ASMR? I think a non speaking or perhaps light whispering tutorial with all your crinkly sounds, cutting sounds, etc would be incredibly popular. It'd be a great way to expand your viewer audience! I know I'd add it to my favorites!! LOL
