Today, it is very rare to see a politician who is an opponent of BJP but still not unnecessarily blaming every step of the government. Kudos to Mr. Prashant Kishore for being so truthful and honest.

By watching this carefully from start to end, I am a big fan of Prasant Kishore. He understands india much better than anyone else. He has the ability to change the perspective of people about politics.

I attended this session live and at one point Shoma was particularly insistent on how to counter BJP.. the interview is a long one and worth watching but if you are short of time .. watch after 1 hour .. he was so critical of Rahul Gandhi, the southern states are more corrupt than the northern states, the strength of the different political leaders…

I was kept mesmerized by Prashant Kishore. The only thing I prefer to differ is the fact that he gave too much importance to Mahatma Gandhi. Others too played very important roles in the independence struggle. His analysis of Rahul Gandhi is spot on. His empathetic outlook is appreciable.

Enough sucking up to Mohammad Karim Ghandhi. He wasn't the only one who got us free of the British rule. MANY others played an equally strong part in shaking the foundation of the British rule. Post independence EVERYONE was just sucking the Gandhi narrative and others were discarded ruthlessly. Even our history books had a LOT of mention of Gandhi/Nehru...but relatively less mention of the others who contributed hugely to freeing us from the British scums. Thankfully people are now being made aware of the sacrifices of others and now ordinary Indians are rightfully pissed off about the constant Gandhi sucking.

Shoma tried so hard to criticize Central Government and what should opposition do. But Prshant sir made her Apologized in her words and made her quiet. Great job 👍

Excellent discussion. Prashant has very good insight of Indian politics. Very clear about various issues involved. I could watch 2 hours of video without interruption that shows how interesting this discussion is.

This should be titled 'My (Shoma's) desperation to defeat the BJP'. As a host, there is nothing else on display except her desperation to get a magic winning formula from the master strategist and run with it to the opposition (even to the extent that she is pleading for a slogan)...utter waste of Prashant's time and no wonder he had to be coaxed to do this. Her questions reek of everything that Prashant is pointing out as the 'wrong way' of looking at the issue.

Prashant Kishore's views are very true to a large extent, but his views on revival of Gandism is like trying to reinvent the wheel and it's genuine followers. Prashant Kishore is much hyped than he deserves. He is never successful in turning d fortunes of losing leader. He always play on a popular leader or party. He is created by media for which PK has spent a good amount. He went everywhere (BJP, Congress, JDU, TMC) to start his politics & wanted 2nd most powerful post in those parties. Every party has thrown him out (rightly so). He is just a good orator & media manager. Thats it.

I agree however I would say there are thousands with better understanding of India but he is fortunate enough who got few opportunities and he was able to grab n use in his favor. Today if he gets from Modi what he wants, he would start praising BJPs policies. Such people can work in silos but cannot within an organization where they have to agree with others points.

He wants to take a moral high ground but he is run of mill politician who will manipulate people to gain power. He has never clearly stated if he is against or in favour of various major issues.

Was Gandhi democratic at any stage? He made Bose to leave Congress presidentship in spite of he being elected by the party members. He asked Patel to forego his PM opportunity in spite of the fact that Patel was endorsed by 12 state committees and Nehru got zero. These were not trivial, but vital occasions which changed the fate of the country. All through he worked in dictotarial manner to force his will.

Unfortunately Corruption is a common theme throughout all the political parties. Recent cag reports prove how widespread corruption is being done by bjp. They are thrice the size of Congress in terms of assest in just 10 years. And at state level, BJP's corruption is well known.
