Thank God I didn't skip this after enjoying Montek. A controlled multiple personality is what she is. The "disorder" happens when one is not agile in understanding the wide canvas of people, life throws at us. She's inspiring. (I do not see movies) A good role model and a thinking person. You Shoma, surprise us every time you bring on subjects and draw the best out of them. Keep up the brilliant work.

Such journalists can be called Rikshawala journalist. They will take you where they want to go and make you pay for it. If you want to go somewhere else (which is not where they like) they just refuse. In the introduction she said all the construct - which should include all the frustrated like Karan Thapar, Old NDTV gang, The Hindu, The Print etc It’s not just a humbling election for politicians but even for journalists from all political parties. Please show some respect for Mr Montek Singh Aluwalia. he is not Kanhaiyya kumar. And is the Govt voted out ? What is she smoking ?

Very good discussion, He is very smart but many of things for faster growth of the country are known. It is very easy to say but very hard to implement. Media /Shobha must ask him about Congress's socialism model. Is giving 1 lakh to all poor people to remove poverty, as stated in Congress's political manifesto, economically viable? What about MSP, Rahul Gandhi's Gabbar Singh Tax comments, and the farmer bill? People need to know which policies are beneficial for the country. Politicians exploit people's illiteracy and backwardness. Who will vote for the country's future and growth when they have the option to receive 1 lakh every year? People will choose their own interest. It is the media's job to bring in economists and question political parties about their economic policies to educate voters which policies are good for the country. Ensure political parties not allowed to buy votes. In democracy votes are not on sale, Supreme court should put ban on buying votes on wrong promises or bias policies.

Shoma is anti-BJP and is spreading a false narrative about the public verdict. BJP's vote share changed by less than 1%, but there was a significant change in seats due to the unified opposition and UP's politics, driven by caste and misinformation about constitutional changes. In short, Indian politics is dominated by the most illiterate and backward segments of the population. Congress economists will never agree or be satisfied with BJP's economic performance. Why not ask about Congress's political manifesto: Is giving 1 lakh to all poor people to remove poverty economically viable? What about MSP and Rahul Gandhi's Gabbar Singh Tax comments? Why not question him about the farmer bill? India has limited land and a large population. To feed everyone, we must utilize our land to maximize output.. How can you argue against Modi's work when Congress economist praises the implementation of GST, infrastructure spending, railway and road expansion, digitalization, toilets, water for every resident, and good governance? Economists may never agree, but the real measure of economic growth, conditions, and positive policies of any government is foreign investment. How much foreign investment coming to India. Investors put their money into India without political bias, and they only invest if they are confident in the country's prospects. Foreign investment is the only option for increasing employment and achieving faster growth.

I have a feeling that the present govt will wait for another five years for the manufacturing in critical and high tech areas to take strong roots and then start reducing custom duties. We have to ensure that we do not get swamped by those imports which will not allow our manufacturing to take roots. PLI is succeeding and we should push it strongly for another ten years.

Shoma tried her best to ask the Khan Market gang's dirty journalistic questions, biased and untruthful perspective-loaded & negativity-loaded questions to which Montek was very balanced & truthful. I wish most Indians realise our cultural value of being truthful and being on the side of SATYAM and not on the side of money, ego, untruth or half-truth/selective truth. The reason the Indian opposition has become a set of untruthful load, shouting liars is because of journalists like Shoma, who peddle their lies like drugs in society. Indian opposition, unfortunately, has become a competition of who can shout lies the loudest and continuously. Our society will self-destruct if the media becomes pujaris of lies and liars, be it in opposition or in the government.

I have huge respect for Mr deepak but he always mention Hinduism don't support homophobia but it is against hindu societal structure, santani culture etc but there is numerous example of homosexuality and transgender and gender fluid people all over the Hindu history Lord ayappa is son of Lord vishnu and Lord shiva ,there is mention of gay men ,lesbian women and many more in the atharva veda they recognise and accept it as normal ( like it was not a taboo or abnormality) and many more examples !! But these days satya sanatanis are more like influenced by mughal and British rule and put their beliefs in the name of Hinduism , what they want is equality rights to marry and respect . It is like I didn't see a mountain I don't believe it is natural or something we all know though hon.SC recognise lgbt people and their council it will not acceptable as a whole as long they don't get the right to marry and formed a family (many straight couple are infertile that doesn't means they will be not recognised as family ) society still see it as some disease or mental problem .They put responsibility of this matter on Parliament where like 80%people are homophobic or don't know what is it and laugh about it mock them but SC put responsibility on them . They should recognise same sex marriage and give them the right they deserve then we can hope society will accept it as normal or natural .they are making it look like a disease by mocking them . Give them the right they deserve as a human .

Regarding 800 million household getting free ration. As in all welfare measures it is easy to get in but hard to get out but this case is different. There is vulnerability of a household which is out of poverty can go back if the earning member loses his job or somebody in his family falls seriously sick/ill. PM Modi has explained this rationale of vulnerability but of course you will not mention it! That is why ration & PMJAY is a safety net!

I appreciate your insights that both UPA and NDA brought out economic growth. The then Dr Manmohan Singh during 1991, India began to loosen its economic restrictions and an increased level of liberalization led to growth in the country's private sector. Today, India is considered a mixed economy: the private and public sectors co-exist and the country leverages international trade.

Very disappointed with the interviewer’s line of questioning. Invasive, uncomfortable and very unprofessional. When after non stop questions to Kiran about her marriage and divorce, she asked Richa about marriage and began the question as, “Kiran just exited a marriage and you just entered one…”, I lost it and shut the video.
