Regga Patio that comment in the video was about lin manuel miranda. He wrote, directed and played as Hamilton in the musical. He also had the most songs because he played the title character and it’s ironic because he’s the director... honestly you missed a good pun

There is a joke about it in party down. Steve guttenberg takes over the writing of Martin starr’s character’s script because he thinks he knows better and he has done it in his career before. Also, as a writer, there is a lot that goes into the script and it usually transcends the actor and even the production it’s self (yes I know that sounds pretentious) in its intent. Actors only care about getting a good role, which will benefit their image

As obviously bad the musical is, the final song with them all together was honestly pretty well done. All their voices together are pretty good.
Jonah Hill’s LMM impression was pretty good

I know I'm two years late to the party, but it genuinely confounds me (as a non-native speaker) how many times I've seen people or outlets get this wrong.

@@shankieinthefridge As it turns out, native speakers are more likely to get homonymous words/abbr wrong than those who learned English as a second language, because native speakers first learn the language by ear whereas non-native speakers usually learn with an instructor, and would typically go through a lot of lectures, practices and tests on these kinds of easily mistaken grammar points. My instructor at a Bussiness Communication class told us this.

This is too real! I’ve seen an actor-written musical almost exactly like this - performed in a park - in California - in the early 2000s. I was pretty young at the time, but I was definitely old enough to comprehend the unforgettable level of cringe!. 😂 Instead of “sleazy Statue of Liberty,” there was a lady who played “sleazy corporation,” complete with pleather pants, and they also had a song like the one Aidy sings! 😆
Holy shit Aidy can freaking SING at 0:27. She usually hides her musical talent behind comedy, but when she lets loose she is incredible!

My mix is SNL, SCTV, In Living Color, and Fridays. Occasionally, Fridays will be swapped out for Chappelle's Show, Key and Peele, or MADtv (seasons 8 to 14).
