Interesting reading list. I've always found that getting politically active and taking interest in political issues, without necessarily getting caught up in the drama that the news media and social media plays up, has always been very beneficial for my mental health.

Oh Women Who Run With The Wolves is about archetypal folklore, it’s very psycho-spiritual. It has great wisdom in there, but it’s very female centric, I think it’s feminist spirituality. It has great wisdom in there. It a very famous book that’s been in print for decades. I have a copy and I started reading it and it mentions inner poverty, which I found relatable and it made me angry. 😤 I love being a woman so that book is very good. I hope you enjoy your reads, excellent channel content. Love you, blessings 😊

Hi Kimberly! Thanks for the video. I'm not very interested in political readings, but I did read something about Karl Marx's communism in high school. I've read about half of a book you recommended a long time ago. It's titled "On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous". It's a very interesting read. Now I want to read "The Mill on the Floss". It's about family dynamics. I really like this kind of video. Currently, I'm reading "Gulliver's Travels. Sending you a big hug ❤😊

You should read The Quotations of Chairman Mao Tse-tung and is most infamously known as The Little Red Book. If you would like to read more books about communism I think you would like it. I haven't read it yet, but I find that you would like it. If you are going to read any more Communist Literature, this book is the darling of the communistic ideology.

Wow. You are reading all political books this summer? I am unable to read currently, I guess I'm too crazy, I have a darkened vision a poet would call it. I'm busy doing some other things like practicing guitar. I got an Irish songbook I really like! And I'm drawing, abstract designs for my friends on Facebook.

Some very interesting books. I feel I could enjoy political books more than just fantasy stories. Current world issues have made me watch documentaries on politics. I still have a fear of books and turn on the TV too often.

I read a book called “the south was right” (about the civil war in the US) for a college report and I was so embarrassed getting it from the library 😂. It was a horrible read, but great info for my report on how history gets rewritten by the victors (or not as the south lost). It was years ago don’t mind me rambling. I also read that Korean book and really enjoyed it. Edit: if you wanna read about racism from the racist viewpoint that book is a good one for that

Oh I’ve heard of a good book about communism called “The Iron Curtain” by Anne Applebaum. It’s about communism in Stalins Russia and it exposes communism for what it really is. I think it’s a problem for peoples freedom. There is a lot about this stuff I don’t know, but somewhere I read that the philosophy of communism seems kind of reasonable even, however in practice it’s a huge problem and a big evil. But it’s not as bad as the nazi philosophy so people allow themselves to approve of it, however I think the author in this book reveals just how bad it truly is. By the way I love your choices and I hope you have a blast reading these, it suits you as a university girl. I sometimes read history books but I’m very leisurely about it. I’ve been wanting to read “Post War: A History of Europe Since 1945” by Tony Judt for years now, but I’m just a little lazy, but that’s my favourite history book, I don’t know much about this part of history, apparently there was a huge refugee crisis. I don’t know but I love your videos. Thank you.😍🥰🥸🤩🎃👼🏾🧶🦋🍀🥦

Thank you! I think I have heard about that book and I would really like to read the "opposite side" if you will. I find that reading from several angles can give you more of a nuanced view on the matter. I will also look up the other book, my grandmother was a refugee from Finland after the war and that could be interesting to read more about. 🥰💚
