Polio Vaccines - Salk vs Sabin

This was very awesome! It seems like we benefitted greatly from having the two different vaccines instead of just one or the other

My grandmother had 11 kids, she gave the oldest the oral polio vaccine in the 60's and he got polio shortly after, the dr did say it was from the vaccine, he still wears braces on his legs, it really messed him up. The other 10 kids weren't vaccinated for it and none of them got it from him. All the kids are still kickin today.

I remember the Sabin Oral Sunday campaign when I was a toddler. I was in line this morning for the Pfizer vaccine and my mind wandered back to standing in line at North Fulton High School.... I hope the COVID vaccines are as effective.

Polio was eradicated because of vaccines but now there are no wild cases of polio in western countries only cases due to vaccinations. So why do we still take vaccines for it?

Polio decline is very closely correlated to decline in pesticide use. Maybe the virus is a part of our biospere just like some bacteria but shows itself when we are unhealthy. IDK but reasonable point of view.

What about vaccine derived polio that gets reclassed? What about all the recalls? When are they going to tell the public that millions were exposed to sv40? Cancer is better? Public opinion is that critical for the business model?
