Love this series for both the display of the scenery and the real people the police are. Keep it up.

Carrying the Community Spirit all over Oamaru, this is so good to witness.

I hope all police remain strong in what they know to be right, stand by, and for the people. Please, don't let Authority be a priority before the people, lets not forget, police swear to protect the people. Take care, and be safe. Much respect, from Hamilton.

My old taxi boss from Sydney lived in Balmoral St Omaru. She died unfortunately about 5 years ago. I love visiting your country. I have never struck rude or unhelpful policeman in NZ which is something you can be proud of. Are the NZ police still not carrying guns? The Tasmanian Police used not carry guns but after the Port Arthur mass shooting which claimed 35 lives the police in Tasmania are now armed.

Amazing and organised police of beautiful country of New Zealand.

small town police are cool

I stopped driving for 7 years, cos I knew it was my bad. Getting my license back with the help of police.

Has nothing to do with colour or culture - it is about who is going to do the job and do it well.

Agree that nurses should get paid more, however the police definitely deserves more due to some of the crap they have to deal with

If they did the hours that the police and others do then maybe they would. Nothing against nurses but you dont have it as bad as a lot of others - you just get media coverage. Try working in logistics and doing heavy hours on salary.
