Policing in Tāmaki Makaurau | New Zealand Police
A light hearted look at Policing in the communities of Waiheke, Kumeū and Warkworth, as well as meeting some of the people who work with us more seriously to keep our communities safe. Having a sense of humour as well as being a people person are two of the key attributes of our staff in smaller towns. What with nudity on Waiheke, yarn bombing in ‘Kumeuknitty’ and working in the lovely Warkworth with the (other) celebrities, there’s a whole lot going on!

What's Tamaki Makaurau? Never heard of it.
Can you guys please do something for ram raiding everywhere in auckland..which is scary for nz
I lived on waiheke island when we weren't allowed our 1st babies there incase of a problem. The old deodar would take pregnant mums to Auckland. Horse n cart days with old metal roads and much more relaxed than today.
Lol 🤣 arrest that man who said good morning with no clothes on 😂 that was funny and our NZ Police, Ambulance staff, fire your awesome 🙌🏼
Shout out to the Warkworth cops they are genuine and not just acting for the cameras

Maori is an offical language. Every place has three different languages (including NZSL signs) that you can use and they are all valid.

Police are to soft on criminals. Look as these too could just slap them both 😂😂
It's a pity you aren't allowed to catch the sharks at the top of society who are feeding on the suffering of the innocent. Meek shrimps lives matter, but sadly they are denied a voice. It's pretty clear the sharks are above the law, and they can always rewrite it if they aren't.

Oh really? Then why don't they change the name of Air New Zealand to Air Aotearoa? And why don't they address the PM as Pirimia? Is it because they're misogynistic?

One only spoken by about 1% and understood by maybe 4%, if not well. Replacing the universally understood English with it, knowing that most New Zealanders don't understand it is an insult to the majority of New Zealanders, and that is why it is being done, as an insult to further divide the people of New Zealand, set us at each others throats so as to more easily manipulate us.
@TheBasicTruth

What are you talking about? You can't even spell Māori, never mind having the brains to figure out that several billion people who can access this post don't know the woke idea that Auckland should have its name changed on the map. It's like Edinburgh chose to change its name to Tumkin Botchwok overnight and expected everyone in the world to know where or what Tumkin Botchwok is.
I dont even know why New Zealand has a police force. The country is so peaceful and law abiding.
