Driving a car while using a mobile phone is a motoring offence that carries a fixed penalty of 6 points and a £200 fine. I will just have to report that offence using this video as evidence .

She needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, absolute disgusting behaviour for a serving officer to drive whilst using a mobile phone, clear as day evidence. I’d have walked away from her … she’s not entitled to any information without identifying who she is or who she thinks she is…

Forgetting the ego, lack of professionalism & refusal to identify. Videoing with a phone while reversing, without a seatbelt on (pinging is clearly audible), driving off without a seatbelt on & without indicating. Please keep us all updated as to the outcome of these offences being committed (on video!) - it will be very interesting to see the result. Cycling Mikey achieves 6 points & a fine regularly for far less.

The reason people hate police. Didn’t listen at all failed to identify herself . And drove her car while on the phone . Sacked and fined for driving offences.

If you are going to report her first you need to find out why she wouldn't identify herself, if they say it's because she was off duty then she has no "get out" for using her mobile whilst driving.

@@lizcollinson2692 please tell me how you think that the police having to (continually over the last 30+ years to) lower the fitness requirements needed , to keep changing and making the fitness tests easier and also lower intelligence levels and school grades passed to enter the police force , how is that making the quality of UK police better ? Back in the 80s when I left school you had to be 6ft ,had to have an A in maths and English, pass the bleep test and run a mile in 7 minutes or under and that was just basic requirements to be considered.

Im always hopeful that any first interaction with a Police Officer can at least start with some degree of respect and common courtesy. Considering that they are only enquiring and its not like you are in the middle of commiting a crime? This womans attitude however was absolutely stinking. The criteria for joining the police isn’t very high. Consider the low pay, the unsociable shift work and even things like the 30 year service to get a pension is long gone, so you not surprisingly you won’t always attract the brightest applicants.
