@@tommot94 Accept it's not. Without that training facility, you get officers dealing with these situations with zero relevant experience and scenes like the US have where officers put citizens in serious harm's way.

Just an opinionated observation. Although the heli-pilots need highly advanced skills, those of the camera operator and map reader are of equal difficulty. My estimate is that only one in so many thousand are adept and suitable for the positions - they're unquestionably borderline super humans and deserve the greatest respect. What a terribly difficult job, even when you're an experienced ace at it. No, I personally couldn't even begin to do it - I'm highly (pun) acrophobic. Hats off to them. Superb upload. Thank you. Mark. Second Side Up FM (...a pilot of the terra firma airwaves!).

Unfortunately for both civilians and the officers who put their lives on the line to catch these shits, Britain seems a lot like Canada. The sentences are a joke and wouldn't deter a five-year-old child. I am always amazed and appalled at the end of these shows when they tell you the outcomes of these cases. No wonder there's so much crime, there's absolutely no deterrent, a couple months spent at a 'Club Fed' is hardly worth the cost to both the victims and society at large. So now we know, both the British and Canadian Justice systems are the welcoming mat for bums, scum, and low-lives! Some good looking officers there in Britain though!

PC Anna - You did NOT fail to do the near impossible, you simply weren't experienced in the situation and Everyone goes through such failures, only a very select few have the natural ability and instinct at it, they're gifted love and so you are NOT a failure. In truth, with todays technology, why on Earth isn't the Government doing the entry level on simulators??? Why not give the likes of PC Anna the chance to at least have a weeks prep in such an environment and then they'll really find the best candidates instead of throwing Anna's in the deep end and saying 'Now swim with all of those weights'. We need to Hire Ex-MILITARY Helicopter Pilots with Vast Experience for these stressful jobs. You must be realistic and understand that Criminals, especially Career Criminals do not wait for LESS EXPERIENCED PILOTS TO LEARN THE JOB. It takes a Long time to get on top of this job and work with Cops on the Ground. Plus. learn how to fly a $5,000,000 Million dollar helicopter with all the Technology and work with YOUR TEAM. There is just too much to do and learn. HIRE MILITARY HELICOPTER PILOTS.....It's too dangerous and these rookies can get everyone killed on board.

Most of them are, the pilots don’t have anything to do with the camera work or navigation other than flying. The rookies are learning the camera work and navigation, they aren’t flying the aircraft
