Would love to see a video of you and your comic friend going through all of these touching on the big hitters!

  • @calighis

Maybe this is a tall order, but can you put out a separate video with a comic book specialist to go over the value of the comics one by one? To save time, you could have him sort the collection so that only the books that 20$ or more get featured. The youtube$ from the video would pay for the cost of his work and it would make for fun content. It could also help bring comic fans to the channel.

If this works you could even have a side channel where the specialists are able to get into the history of the comics, baseball cards, stamps and coins, and again this could grow your audience and bring special attention to the items you've collected, garnering interested buyers. There are probably specialists in your area, that would love the opportunity to feature your content and share following.

Dunno if you saw because I was 3 days late to the last video, but I left you a detailed message on that Marshall amp. It's actually around $500 in value used. One sold on Reverb for $550. Was hoping you saw it. It's not a beginner amp but a more higher end. More intermediate to advanced.

This whole locker seems like a lot of these items were stolen, because of so many different kinds of collections! Thieves are the worst, I'm glad he is in jail!!! When you were looking at the old stamps, it reminded me of my stamp collecting as a kid. I have stamps from World War I, when my great uncle served overseas during that time. He would send letters and post cards to his wife. I have those stamps. And I have no idea how much they would be worth today. Thanks for the video, Jack!

Hello from Chiang Mai! This locker is still so interesting and I'm waiting for the end to see how it will end! I will have a request, or rather an idea, it would be, once every three months, or six months, to "monitor" the "emblematic and rare" pieces so that we know what has become of them. .. I'm thinking for example of the Asian statue put up for auction in the auction house several years ago, we don't know how it ended, the same goes for the stamp collection... And in this locker in particular the poster of Jesse James... (Is it a real one? If so, how much did you sell it for, etc...) I am sure that the followers would like (like me) to know what happened to the “non-standard” objects... I hope for more soon...

US viewer's opinion on why the police did not confiscate much from this locker. 1) They only took specific items related to the outstanding warrant that enabled them to arrest the thief. It is my understanding that any items not covered by the warrant can not be taken, additional warrants would be requested. I think that they did not seal and confiscate the items for a few reasons. 1- sealing a locker could hurt the rental companies business, 2- Arresting officers wiuld only have limited space for items. 3- likely any items taken would need to be processed, if only for inventory. 3- The thief's MO is obviously small items of mid tio high value. And/or items they specialize or have interest in. e.g. music related items, comics, stamps. I doubt this criminal is taking huge hauls at one time. Although items are targeted, they are still rather generic, not unusual or super rare, for the most part. 6- so that can make it difficult to figure out who these items should be returned to. Look at those comic books that had 4 of the same volume. Maybe these were taken from the same place maybe from 4 separate places which potentially could be quite far apart. Anywhere from 20 miles to 800 miles. TL;DR I suspect the cops could only take specific warrant items, although all items are sus, the rest may not have been worth time and effort to trace. Finally the cops could have been lazy, but i suspect proceedure and policy reasons.

Anything in any locker could be stolen from someone. I always wonder if I’m buying stolen goods at a flea market. There’s just no way of knowing unless it’s a super high value item with a serial # or other identifying mark. That’s why people do things like engraving names on bikes. Or more recently VIN #’s on catalytic converters. How could you prove any specific comic book or tool is yours???

What an amazing amount of comics. What would be the top 10 sellers to look for in comics?? Also that grateful dead songbook would be a great Christmas gift for my Son. He has been a grateful dead fan his whole adult life. What does something like that go for?
