Some Marbles can be quite pricey. Feel each one, if there is bump on it, it could be handmade. The bump could be a Pontil, where the marble was snapped off after hand blowing.

LOL...most of the marble makers I know melt their pontil marks in. Of course, that's about the time the darned thing falls of the pontil or out of the holder and rolls across the table to the floor (seen it, done it)

unfortunately them are not anything near rare, them are made in mexico called vacors , any collectable , machine made, not hand made have to be at least from the 30's 40's and some 1950's are collectable, not rare but collectable, these were made in the 80's to present.,,, marbles pre 30's are more desirable and hard to find in good condition

It's a shame his family didn't want these thing, oh pirate Mike, you've got your work cut out. Lots of treasures 🦄🏴‍☠️❤

Dude... Look up the KZreadr Roman Atwood. that is Atwood rope. Roman's father is the Owner of Atwood Rope Company. Very cool, the Atwood family are great people. That humidor box alone is worth probably 100 bucks. The movie photo's may be worth more than you think. For sure get them looked at. You should try to do some research on the photo albums. Maybe try to get them back to the original families.

It’s insane

I’ve lived many places, and so has this person. The photos prove it. You have a bonanza...in the hands of the right buyer. Those marbles are sold individually in some cases. Completely worth the research but you have so much of it to do. You said you were taking some for money. I hope not flea market prices unless you are 100% sure there’s not BIG money out there.

That pistol you showed out of the trunk with all the holsters is made by the Iver Johnson Firearms Company and is a 44 caliber.. it's the same type used by David Berkowitz in the son of Sam killngs.. more commonly called the Bulldog 44.. And yes those pictures are from the John Wayne movie "3 Godfathers".. amazing movie and one of my personal favorites.. those holsters could very well be movie props from different western movies.. just a guess on that one.. but I can confirm that the bayonet is from WW1.. the triangular shape was banned for use by the Geneva Convention because of the brutal wounds inflicted.. Amazing locker my friend.. with even more yet to be discovered.. God Bless you and yours always Mike

Hey Pirate, I'm an English antique and history enthusiast. The glasses at 14:16 are nineteenth century mother of pearl abalone shell) opera glasses and some of them can be big bucks. I don't know a lot about cowboy boots and leather work etc. only that they can command large sums. Please do your homework on these items, at this point Google can be your friend for brand names and artists. I would hate for you to lose out to someone selling yourself too cheaply. Even some of the antique kitchen ware can be worth quite a bit as there is a huge collectors market for it. The little red and white vase at 5:51 is signed art glass and could also be worth looking into. Much love and good luck x

Bad advice. This stuff is not special. He has a lot so he can just grind his money back but if you look honestly at it it's all cheap stuff. The guy who bought all this went for quantity not quality, instead of buying one expensive statue he bought 20 cheap ones and so it's for all this stuff. But he could be lucky with one good item, he said he needed that in the beginning and he was right.

Name one thing that's worth $500, $2.500 or $10.000. It's all vintage and most is goodlooking so most is probably worth between $20 - $100 he also says figures like that a few times, he's just honestly saying what it's worth and he has a lot of knowledge or he says he doesn't know. I'm not saying it's a bad buy just that it will take some work to get his money back and then profit but maybe he will find some big money items...... the camera lenses for example might be worth $1.000, I don't know but could be, that's a good start.

What a unit!!! Every box you open has valuable things in it. Some are worth more than others, but you will be able to literally sell everything. And I think some of that stuff has a lot of value to it. You do have your work cut out for you, but it is in an awesome way. It is exciting to watch you open the treasures in this unit. It is definitely your best unit ever. I can't wait to see the next installment in this series.

Someone commented that if he had pictures of old westerns (John Wayne) some of the items could be vintage props. Keep an eye out for any provenance documents to support that as the value goes way up. Incredible finds and take your time. Get rid of the tools and things you know to get your initial investment and those things you can price via ebay. Lots of research ahead for you. The bronze's I would take to Michaan's and get them to look at it (free appraisals every wednesday for up to 5 items). Congrats again!

The brass sombrero hat is an ashtray. My dad had one years ago. Probably form the 50's or earlier. the crease in the hat is to rest your cig. the sides to collect the ashes.

I was just reading the comments list and I absolutely agree with many posters that You need to NOT take this find to a flea market. After seeing these videos and all the treasure you have found so far. I visualize a massive flock of antique dealers landing on your pitch like a murder of crows to grab items you may not know are really valuable. We recognize you need money to do your move but the profit should to be mainly yours. Have you done a search to find out what this man did for a living? With those photos from the movie I wonder it he worked in the movie industry? Prop department or such?

The John Wayne photos are from the movie 3 Godfathers ;) Would be cool if the spurs where from the same movie. There are no words for my happiness and excitement to watch you do so well with this unit. I look forward to seeing even more success and blessings coming to you.

Check out Dr. Lori’s YT channel. She once talked about the type of old marbles that are valuable (think it was one of the cats eye or clear with swirled colors inside)

OMG I wish I had the funds to buy all them holsters you found. The one with the hole belt and holster very well could have been very old. As far as the guns go they look good to me even the one you said was a cap gun could very well been old also. I need to find out were you will put them up for sell so I can pass the info to my family because my birthday is the 31st. The holsters are bandoler holsters they can be very expensive yhe ones you have arent real old exceptfor the fancy one with the slingers belt. The american bull dog )ooks to be either an early 30's to fourty's .32 or .38 spl. Saturday night special. The large military style knife is a heck of a find. You were correct about the pictures they are still shots from production. Some can be very valuable.

Lots of boots. Makes me wonder if he liked boots, or just collected boots of famous people who wore them? Look at the pictures closer, were any worn by John Wayne?

it is pricey from the boots to the rope making box it will pay well. Also this guy didn't buy junk even in clothes. Was that bronze horse statue a Remington? Even a smaller one is very expensive. You'll count your money a new wonderful home.

those john wayne photos were form his films. my uncle John R Hamilton was a stills photographer for john ford and wayne. those just might be pictures that my uncle took. those are deffinatley worth something fr sure. i dont have a co;y of it but you might be able to find a copy of "thunder in the dust" it is a book about my uncles work .unfortunatley my uncle passed years ago now. so i cant even get him to look at the footage to see if those are stills he took.

Kristine G. Don't worry about sounding like a smug bit.h cause I have (according to many) a lock on it. I am still using family vintage items and cookware, dining sets of tablecloths and napkins from the 40s and even some Victorian tools. I lived during many of these items being designed, patented and sold. It's hard to keep my mouth shut but I lost my control about age 58...and now have nothing to keep me from blabbing what I know. My age doesn't stop me and I lied on my reg. but in my 70's should count for some of this (so is sitting a home disabled when going out is a pain) If you want to be a pain go ahead but smug anything you don't seem to be.

please dont sell anything until you research, marx basketball game $20 SOLD , bulldog revolver i would part out for $100, some single marbles and shooters sell for $100 EACH, boring private old photos could fetch $5 to $10 each , but interesting photos and photos of Great White Fleet tour of 1908 $20 to $100 each but i would probably just professionally duplicate them , get a $35 copyright claim and sell the dups over and over until ya die, private photos hold no copyright claim until you get one, then they are YOUR images for just about forever, any soCal photos that are over 100 years old is $$, please be careful, gag cigs $15 a pack SOLD

So far I've watched the first video and this video and it seems pretty much everything is a collectible. What fun! Each marble could be worth a pretty penny, as well as each photograph. I watch the Auction Professor and he has a video just on marbles. Have fun, you definately need some help figuring out all what you have, but oh what fun! And try not to crash the marbles together.......be gentle :)
