Locker Nuts episode 657
Let's wrap up the shopaholic's locker, which I paid $1,400 for. The last few boxes contain even more brand new merchandise, raising more questions about what the prior owner's intent was in buying and storing all these goods. There are some surprises too, and something turns up that I'm not even sure I want to share on camera. But I do anyway.
We'll be selling the best items from this locker on Whatnot. The links are above to sign up and get a free $15 credit to spend, and here is the link directly to our next show. Join us for some live auction fun!

This lady deserves the Guinness Book of World Records for having an entire storage unit collection of brand new, never used, clearance items. 😆😄

probably ready to open an online shop/ ebay /vinted shop . Just she missed the idea is to open as soon as possible, not for when "I would have more time"
I went to a party a couple of weeks ago from my old job at Ashland Community Hospital. We did 40 years of river rafting every May down the wild and scenic Rogue River, the last trip was 2019. What an amazing 3 days. They used a slide projector at the party, showing old photos from the river. So, projectors are still used, albeit not very often.
I honestly don't think this was a hoarder. I think she wanted to be an eBay dealer when she retired or had enough savings to go into it full-time, but life got her instead. This was inventory.

I was thinking the same thing. A lot of the random items seem like she was buying up the clearance isles at stores and probably intended to resell.
Very nice solution for the books.

I was very disappointed when you did not try the blue Swarovsky glasses... might have suited you, who knows? 🤣🤣
33:15 Oh snap! Macarons, one of my fave cookies. They do involve meringue so whoever bakes them deserves a cookie!
Guessing that she might have been buying gifts in case she needs a gift at the last minute. So happy you donated the books!
Jack as you went through the boxes if there was a low price on it you should have taken it off before repacking in the box stops people saying but it says 2 bucks when you said 5 Dollar you know what I mean don't you. I love that you always think about your girls ( I wonder if the girls would like to have this ). Keep up the good work. 👍🏴🇬🇧
I've loved this locker so much variety. x
I remember the fairy tale theatre,Shelly Duvall Directed and starred in one of her storys, it was on cable 40 years ago. Children show.❤
Schiaparelly is the Italian equivalent of Coco Chanel. It is an haute couture fashion at it's finest. Perhaps the scarf is not very expensive, but still a great vintage find.

I enjoyed this locker. Are you getting sick or something? You don't seem the same. I'm praying for you. Love you all❤😘💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
Lodis is a great brand… some of their wallets go for over 100.00. I believe there’s a specific wallet that sells more than their handbags but they are quality. Great find! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great journey, Jack. Find another great locker so we can continue on… 🙏🏻❤️
Hello Jack. Let's see what's inside of these boxes from the abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome.
I think this lady was an organized hoarder. I bet at her house she had more stuff stored all over the place. It's a sickness with some people. Thanks for video, Jack!!! By the way, I'd love to see a video of Janna saying what's good or bad of the things you can't decide on. 😊
As a person who loves books I'm really glad you donated them. If a book got published there is going to be someone who will like to read it.

I used to donate them to Savers, but that drop box I found is even easier! As long as it's not full and overflowing when I get there.

Barbie 4 President ❣️❣️. Hope the books get good homes!
Howdy Neighbor. Looks like you found a gift & chachki cache, some aunty to little kids maybe. I got one of those lockers eons ago. Women in my used buy gifts well in advance too. I guess Amazon and eBay changed all that. She may have had no choice abandoning it all, life turns on a dime. Have fun... Love your vids..

You're right, she may have had no choice. We never know what happens in another's life, even someone we know.
Thank you Jack!!
Hey jack love these videos ! Makes me wanna get into it myself ! It may seem time consuming but books are a great place to check for cards and money as a book worm myself we will use anything as a book mark and I mean anything 😅 so much fun watching yall !
Another great video love it and blessings to you and your family always my bro 🙏🙏
Seemed like a decent locker so neat, clean & orderly very little trash looks to be profitable. Wondering if this was inventory of a soon to be reseller back story could be so interesting. The ending Locker Nut Class. All The Best, Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Great locker. Really enjoyed these videos.
Thanks, locker nuts, for another great video 🎉
Her actions are is not unusual in bouts of almost manic depression. I think it’s like the cop ermine effect where you get a good deal and then put it away n then onto the next bargain. Bless her. Had a good eye and kept them clean and organised for sure. . Thanks for another great locker video. Ended on a high I think too. 👏👏😍❣
As far as the books, if you have a place that resells used books like half price books, you can take them there and they will take them off your hands and you can get some cash for them. HPB also does movies and CDs as well.

They pay very little, and take a long time to appraise them. I used to use them, as many know from watching my older videos, but it became not worth the time. Donating is quicker.
A little hello from Chiang Mai! Very nice end for this locker which has reserved a lot of surprises and a very pleasant viewing! Next !
Hi Jack maybe the lady worked at the goodwill take care ❤️🇦🇺
Cool stuff in the locker :)
The tablets you took home are worth looking up. I think they are la type of computerthat convert handwritten notes to typed text. Very popular among students
You had a little wood car from Happy Factory which is out of Cedar City Utah. They make toys for underprivileged children all over the world. Coolys started the organization. Volunteer there a lot.
📗📘📙📕📚📘!! Thinks for donating!! 💙💙💙
So the locker you opened with the passport and pressure cooker in you should probably consider telling someone. The pressure cooker is what nomads use to cook over open fires because they live in the mountains. And considering he was military and left that stuff behind. He can’t leave without passport. Just saying. How about the big “t” word. By the way love ur channel just don’t comment much❤
You got me with the clickbait. I don’t fast forward your videos anyway but the clickbait was bugging my mind throughout the whole video 😂 nice locker 👍

It is technically clickbait (designed to provoke a click), but nothing untrue about the thumbnail or title.
Great locker! Hate that it’s ending!
Awesome locker
Lots of goodies
One thing I don't remember seeing is jewelry. If there was some it wasn't high end. Thanks Jack for the video. Very interesting. I hope you and the family are well.
The hoarder in me would have a tough time selling any of this stuff. So much of it is so cool, I wouldn't want to part with it!!!

I don't really keep stuff for myself but I have trouble throwing stuff away if I think anyone might get use out of it, even if it's not really worth anything. I end up donating it and pretending they don't throw away half of what I donate because they have too much of it, like plain cheap glass cups or something.
The Boogieboard are tablets to write on. We have a patient in our office who is deaf and mute he communicates with i t.Also another patient who had their voice box removed. They work well in these instances..
Flip belt great for when you're a tourist is dodgy places where pickpocket are rampant.
Got a big laugh off those Daisy Dukes in the beginning.
Really enjoyed this locker Jack
Not high dollar kind of locker but really cool n nice things. It sure is a mystery though. Thanks for sharing your videos. 😊❤
Kudos on donating books! Always enjoy the videos. Keep that beard groomed your looking scruffy. 😉
Grind unit, no home runs but plenty to sell.
Hey Jack that Marmett coat may have an inside liner keep a lookout for something like that.
27:59 oil lamps for Diwali celebration.
You should look into getting a Tide to go pen. They are great for “spots” I carry one in my purse for that just in case.
How come you all hate books? Lots of people like to read books.Otherwise I really like to watch your videos. You take care of the things and don't just throw things around. Have a great day.

Hello. As a review ; i always skip the spoiler at the beginning. thanks for the entertainement .
Slide projectors depending on model sell for 30 to 200 bucks. Sold my family's old one for 85 so might want to check. Don't discount some of the lil things.
I’m interested in the snoopy shirt
The green /grey jacket just needs to be rewashed, then shaped and lay flat to dry.

Please give us a tutorial on how a Whatnot auctions works. Thanks, Daren
I’m telling you. This is someone who worked at Goodwill , probably a store manager and they took home the high dollar merchandise before it hit the sales floor so they could resell it. I’ve seen this before. They just snatch anything and everything of value no matter what it is and drag it out to their car.
I dont know what you didn't wantbus to see i like this unit and live the candles
If you come across maxi dress in an XL I'd be interested in checking them out. Dress clothes to
Awesome locker, who didn’t love chalk.
Gimme those salt and pepper shakers! Holy smokes, low key grail find.
Still a nice bag
Hello Jack 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Jack from Iowa USA 🇺🇸
jack your London Fog is a high price coat
Handbag is ruth saltz, and it is snakeskin
Ifs easy to acquire a large death pile, and if its valuable enough, it can be more than worth it to pay for storage.
Would really love the Looney Toons Marvin the Martian Snow Cone Maker!!!!!
This person was buying to resell.Maybe she was saving it up to open a thrift store or set up a shop. All items (most) I would buy to resell..she was doing retail arbitrage & buying lots from the thrift stores.
The little bits kits are expensive
she may have had family back in her country tho. in Canada we get Cubans who work here but they have a huge family in their country so they send stuff and money back home to them. Chinese ppl are the same. africans are the same they send money home and save to bring them to canada.
Ephemera groups love slides, any historian....they will sell!!
I dopamine chase by shopping. Better than other things, but man it can be tempting. Why I am starting a reselling business. I can dopamine chase and make money.
❤
Wow!!!😳😳😳😳
The fairy tale DVDs are extremely valuable if new.
My children preferred Cashflow over Monopoly, and they taught all their friends and they did play it over and over for years, best board game we own, and it cost something like $300 Aus back about 25 years ago.
The reed box wasn't a scarf. It is actually nylon stockings aka hoses.
Sam’s had them for 8.99….got bunch containers lol
I hoard sunglasses and I want those
Idk if you can get much. But gensing is used in alot of things. And ppl pay alot for it.
Slides are worth money
Title was a bit click-baity, Jack. I has a disappoint.
Think that one clutch is eelskin.
It’s not mind boggling that she bought brand new. What is mind boggling is that she would turn around and pay to store it😮😮😮
Jack I need the silkn machine…..please sell it to me
Yes skylanders there are ones that are hundred or thousands depending on how rare they are

Are those not silk stockings instead of a scarf?
You should consider scanning some of the books. You threw away at least a dozen worth $50-$$125 in value and that is used pricing.

@@LockerNuts First, you do what you do, and I do what I do. I have been cataloging books both antique, mainstream, and short runs for years. You should consider finding a bookstore rep you can work with, you'll receive enough coin to make it worth your while. Give the job to one of your family members. I know you seem to dislike books, but they can be worth more collectively than some of the pieces you keep.
When do you do the flea market
I think Jebus knows a app to see if books are worth money
Thats still such an odd thing to find in a locker. (The crated thing, wont spoil, rewatch this locker to see) But that in a locker of everything else mostly being thrift store / clearance buys? Just odd.
@LockerNuts

Yeah, totally, right? It didn't fit anything else in there. The locker was an odd one overall, but luckily we like odd lockers!
Star Wars was over-marketed long before Disney purchased Lucasfilm. It was even made fun of in Space Balls.
33:39 Could it be Ruth Saltz??
Can I ask why you show what people have items listed for instead of showing sold comps?
Have you tried to sell some clothes on whatnot. The new with price tags might go for more than a couple dollars
