@@TheTalemaster If I may be blunt. Your reading voice is not relaxed enough for me.
I started reading lovecraft just a few days ago beginning chronologically in the order he wrote them, and I was unsure about the hype surrounding this author. When finally I made it to Dagon and especially Polaris I finally understood... This is going to be one hell of a ride.

Mr. Rize AG ahahaha, awesome comment
Polaris is an outstanding story, and for me, leads to more questions than answers... i actually put this on loop sometimes and just listen to this one in particular for an hour or so... just an amazing story... So much depth to it, even at just 10min ish, it provokes thoughts of an entire peoples and land.... SO DANG GOOD!!!
These stories are perfect for the Winter season, and those long dark, rainy, Winter's night! Thankyou for these, and I am pleased to be a supporter of HorrorBabble.
Am new to Lovecraft's work and am completely taken by his works, and this is the fifth of his stories I have heard so far today! The narration is just fantastic and the prose hits all the right notes that worm into the consciousness of the reader and give the setting such eerily vivid life.
Wonderful, I've always enjoyed this one. You do this dark gem a great service with your amazing talent Ian!
This is one of my favourite stories ever written. I just love it so much. And your reading is superb, of course!
Ha. Only Lovecraft could look at something as pretty as the North Star and describe it "uncanny" and "hideously winking", or call the auroras a "demon light"
The experience of Polaris is like HP L turning to the reader (who has just finished the final page) and asking "Who loves ya', baby?" A lot of his stuff is like that but it mostly comes out at night. Mostly.

What kind of fantasy🤔?
Great story and narration. This is a story I always love listening to. I like how this story threads dreams and lore into geography and people of our earth. The little "what if" at the end is awesome. Thanks!
Another Stellar narration , Ian !! So enjoyable to listen to your beautiful voice while I rest...😎😉😴

Wholeness and balanced vibrations thanks for the upload
"The Hot yellow rays of a Sandwich"
Other people : Lovecraft is about tentacled monsters, racism and aliens! Meanwhile Ian Gordon : the most unmerciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human readers to correlate the entirety of the legacy of Lovecraft.

Excellent as always.
Quality content as always👌👌
HELL YEAH!
This is a fantastic and evocative story. I love every aspect of it. E-V-E-R-Y aspect.
A stellar performance! 😎
Another great reading of a classic, thanks Ian. You're surely aware of it, but have you thought about doing the Solomon Kane series by Robert E. Howard? some of the stories are flatter than others, but it's still Howard & I'd love to hear your rendition of the series spread out over a few weeks/months

I have a massive H.P Lovecraft book and in the table of contents I marked each dream cycle with a number so when I read it i can read it in order.
Please please please put the dream cycle on spotify!! I can only listen your H.P. now. Everyone else is subpar.

We're working on it, Tahnee! It was actually in the process of being released when our distributor decided to stop distributing audiobooks. We'll get there.

Ian! I wasn't sure where to leave this message but this should do. Have you considered a reading of HPL's 'Supernatural Horror In Literature' or 'Notes on Writing Weird Fiction' ? These are often overlooked. And I assume they too are in the Public Domain. Cheers 🍻

Hello there! I had entertained the idea when the dedicated Lovecraft channel was live - but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps I'll take a look at the texts again in the future. Thanks! Ian
In 1000 years this story won’t make any sense.

I love the mythical pseudo-Hyperborean/Thulean race of "Aryan/Indo-European" supermen overtaken and destroyed by Inuit tribesmen; a whole civilization destroyed by one man's failure and neglect. I find it very savage, and dark on so many levels, despites its lack of politically correct sensibility.
Awesome narration. The voice was great. It would be better though if the text were to appear alongside the voice.
