Oh man this was great!!
The two extra clear red parts are for the windows on the areas either side where the neck connects to the body.
i think everyone has been waiting for this version of the K'Tinga, and the lighting set looks amazing...
I usually don't bother with the R2 lighting kits, but for this model it seems like an absolute must. And nice to see that it's actually cheaper than the previous version.
You are totally awesome.
Great video, I am very impressed how well the lighting kit works especially at the nacelles.
brilliant video thanks................. yes white reflects light so will bounce it around inside
I'm wondering about using silver instead of white for the interior of the shell. Also for the clear nacelle parts perhaps a coat of clear tamiya yellow mixed with green might improve the look and inhibit some of the bleed from the blue LEDs
Thanks for taking the time to review this kit as well as past kits(even non trek related). I'm seriously considering purchase this as well as the re-released Enterprise D later this year.
Wow it looks awesome
Just a thought what are your thoughts of spraying color changing color on the inside so that when the lights hit it it shows different glows when looking from different angles

I like that idea!
$125. 99 from Cult TV, but 69.99 pre order from Big Bad Toys for the same kit. Why the huge price difference?

You read wrong, the lighting kit is 69.99 the actual model is 139.99 at big bad toys.
About 4 minutes30 seconds into your video you point out a couple of clear red pieces you're not sure where they go, If you'll look at the instructions for the K'tinga main body assembly you'll see they go inside the forward edge on either side of the neck. Just look for the 'dents in the surface of the plastic.
