1:03:30 your not suppose to do that shit its your pal will do that for you and also the mining stone and and cutting trees you wont need to farm any of that if you have pals that are farming for it! basically you have 6 main pals for combat/mount and all the other pal is suppose to be working on your base so after you return to your base you have resources ready.

Interesting how you said that you don‘t form any bonds to your Pals, but you do to Pokémon. I‘ve got the complete opposite impression. Probably because a) you can do much much more different stuff with your Pals than in Pokémon, which basically is the same Battle Simulator as it was almost 30 years ago, just with more fluff b) Pals have much more personality than Pokémon, which partly still use the same animations as in Pokémon Stadium (1999). Do you wanna know when the last time was, that Blastoise actually shot water from it‘s blasters, instead of using a boring standard animation? Pokémon Stadium 2 (2000).

@@bellhopproductionsllc Well, at the end of the day we‘re all entitled to our opinions. Palworld and Pokémon definitely do things very differently, and the creature collection aspect pulls both games together. We all have our biases, and as an almost life long Pokémon fan, I haven‘t been eating good since they‘ve started releasing games for the Switch. One huge factor for Palworlds success is Gamefreak‘s inability to make games with the quality and polish they deserve. It‘s more important to regurgitate at least one game per year.

Its bullshit when someone says you bond with pokemon more than pals. Theres little difference between battling and adventuring with a pokemon vs a pal. Palworld actually offers more than pokemon since you interact with them beyond the battling. You directly interact with your pals at base, they automate the most annoying tasks, you can ride them to get around areas easier, they'll defend your base from invaders, they can get sick/injured/depressed if you dont care for them properly and will get visually sad and work less. Each pal has its own animations for the jobs its capable of doing, every animation is so expressive and conveys their personality. Theres a reason Depresso is a fan favorite (BTW how have you not realized depresso is an espurr clone?), everything it does conveys how this creature feels. You'd never see a pokemon do jobs for you or require any ammount of care for its well being outside of HP. Palworld gives value to every creature you catch. Pokemon wants you to collect pokemon but lets be real you store 98% of them in the PC never to be used. Pokemon encourages you to only use your starter since it will be the most powerful mon in your team. Getting new pokemon is just more grinding to get them up to speed when its much easier to just pour all your resources into one creature and sweep everything in one shot. You dont want to play with your favorites, you want the most powerful pokemon because thats all that matters. Palworld gives value to every creature you catch. The weakest pal still provides use at base. Everything can do at least 1 job that will reduce the tedium of work. Many of these pals might be too weak to use in battle so at least they get to do something that makes life easier. SOme pals are designed to be workers, some are much better for navigating, some are more suited to battle than working. Theres specialists, jack of all trades, some are supports. You can switch pals around however you need to fulfill the current task at hand. No one is worthless, you will get to see a lot of them perform in real time. I'm only going easy on you since you clearly haven't made enough progress so you wouldn't have gotten the full experience yet... It just bothers me when people claim they bond with pokemon more when its an objective fact Pals offer so much more in addition to doing everything pokemon already has. Lets be real most people who say this are just biased nostalgia from decades of the brand existing, not because actually did anything special. The anime is the only reason people think pokemon have personality

hey michael, I can't disagree with anything you're saying! and you're absolutely right that I'm biased towards pokemon - I probably will be forever! my only counterpoint would be that I'm not a fan of having to catch a whole bunch of mons/pals. the way I play pokemon is I catch my party of 6 as early as I possibly can then ride or die with them! is it stupid? probably! but that's my personal preference and what I mean by "bonding" thanks so much for watching man, really appreciate ya!

I am not voting for that dastardly key pokemon I'm not a pervert. So Ryan's team has my vote for this one :)

The manual building and crafting sucks on purpose, so you are incited to use your Pals for manual work. Idk how you guys are playing the game, but I didn‘t have to manually build anything since 10 minutes into the game, because I got a Cattiva and a Lamball as my first Pals, and both can build and craft. You aren‘t supposed to do the boring stuff yourself, that‘s the main reason to get Pals in the first place. It being extra annoying (by forcing you to hold down the button) is probably so even people, who didn‘t immediately understand this concept and gameplay loop, get nudged in the right direction.

@@bellhopproductionsllc Have you added Pals to your base? They should look for work themselves, if you don‘t assign them. Most very early pals help with crafting and building. If you want somebody to fell trees for you, you need a bigger guy (like the huge deer one)
