Joe is honestly THE person in the community I would trust the most for info and just takes overall. We're all gullible but he has his senses anchored and well established, he knows his stuff. Yeah he made some mistakes in some takes and info but they are negligible compared to just the sheer net positive impact he had on the community. Long live Serebii.

Loved having Joe on the pod. Very entertaining and very insightful. The amount of Pokemon knowledge stored in his head is incredible.

One thing I personally think Pokemon games have been missing for a while is a strong way to communicate with other players if they are going to continue down the social gaming path. It is very difficult to communicate with other players in raids or other activities without a strong chat feature. I loved all of the improvements the Pokemon Co and Gamefreak has made to these games as time has gone on...but if raids, open social engagement and other social features like battles and trades are going to continue, we need a better way to be able to communicate with other players online.

The bank situation makes me sad, I feel like it gets rid of some of the replayablity of the older games when you could bring the pokemon forward to new games.

ORAS and HGSS may be my favorite "games" in pokemon, but i will say SV have had the best competitive scene ever

Joe is awesome! Super knowledgeable. I can't imagine how many people he's helped to get more from the games. Do pokemon Co give out awards?

On the topic of the dex cuts - I just wish they did a better job rotating the dex between games. We had two Gen 4 focused games and yet still so many pokemon from Gen 4 are in both SWSH and SV, while a number of earlier generation pokemon are only in Lets Go or BDSP and it'd be nice to of finally been able to mark hunt them. Then we have our poor handful of forgotten pokemon that are still waiting for a chance to be on the switch and it just seems so poorly thought out to leave some pokemon out for this many years since their last appearance on the 3ds.

That's just how the TCG works. Japan almost always gets new cards months before the west.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped ZA and then give us the much anticipated previous gen remake NOT by ILCA. That’s my prediction 🤷🏾‍♂️

I'm in between a casual player and hardcore player and I can say I enjoyed my playthrough bdsp lol.

The real breaking news

Hard agree on the Z-A starters. They finally have an opportunity to have the Kalos starters have their spotlight, since they already had it stolen by Kanto starters in their own game, without ever getting an enhanced version or anything... but then I look at Pokémon fan discourse and everyone is speculating what other starters will be in the spotlight instead, and it drives me crazy lol

You can clown on Mega Aerodactyl's spiikes (and rightfully so) but there were some great mega designs and I have no doubt gamefreak has been cooking up some crazy designs over the last ten years.

Pokémon Duel was ( and still ) best mobile Pokémon game …IMO

This was great~ Loved the "Megas are Pkmn with spikes" takes lol

I like Scarlet and Violet but being a fav is a bit much, aside from the graphics and framerates, like the games open world isnt the most exciting and the region aside from the school doesnt really have much personality Like its a solid 3.5/5 game

I love how it seems pokemon "fixed" all the leaks since the announcement of ZA. Centro is desperate searching for leaks or "leaks" to copy-paste, and Khu seems to grow more desparate by the day making extremely safe predictions and calling them leaks and if it is not that making up removed content out of thin air
