Steve salting the pizza is NOTHING compared to Hannah admitting not liking pizza at all! 😱 Hannah, if it's the cheese's texture you don't like, there are many nice pizzas without cheese, but maybe I'm just thinking with a European mindset, and being unaware of the USA's manufactured cheese obsession.

Pizza without cheese is great! But yeah there’s enough debate here in the U.S. over whether that’s actually pizza that it’s always been easier for me to say I just don’t like pizza 😅

Campfire is the best. Since I had access to use the App I've been playing with the Community in San Francisco. Our community ambassadors woke up at 6:00 AM to find the best route to play the elite raids. We ended up playing 24 in total, two different parks and walked more than 17km, it was great! Also, you don't need to be an ambassador to create a group and meetups, so small town players can organize even if there is no official program.

I am surprised that the salt on pizza was such a controversy. To be fair, I grew up in a household where we put salt on nearly everything (my mother still does). But, has no one been to a pizza place? There are always 4 things on the table - salt, pepper, pepper flakes and parmesan cheese. I admit, I thought it was a lot in the video, but I assumed you were just trying to make sure it could be seen on camera and wasn't bothered by it. All that said - I need a Nacli salt shaker now. Such a perfect idea.

My partner 100% would salt pizza, she's a salt fiend lmao - and yeah, you can get sea salt as an additional topping at a chain called Blaze Pizza! It is indeed really good! Also +1 to being grossed out by pizza cheese, that texture sure is... yeahhhh. It's good without though for restaurants that can do it that way :>

Yeah I do like pizza without cheese! But I’ve known plenty of people who’d say that’s not actually pizza, so that felt like a whole potential debate to me lol (Also yay you’re someone else who understands how offputting pizza cheese texture can be! 🥳😂)

People in Mexico City put Ketchup on their pizza, so salt doesn't seem that farfetched. Heck, Little Caesar's there give you ketchup packets when you buy a pizza.

Campfire is the only way I did raids this past year. I also found a community at a park that is active. No talking required.

I coordinated raids in my town , created event on campfire and have 22 people sign up and 11 check in …woke up at 6 to make the route it was fun …had like 15+ cars in the morning session and like 25+ the afternoon it was crazy …definitely going to try to become a community ambassador since my town currently doesn’t have one and no one else seems to want to take the role …. The next town over has a ambassador and I see they get 3 raid pass codes every raid hour they get a ton of engagement…we need that here 😅

I'm feeling relieved that Steve used the pizza for the only purpose of salting, specially knowing it was 3 days old.

Salting pizza is infinitely more normal than putting pineapple on it.

I used to put salt on Watermelon. It's an old southern thing I got from my grandaunt, who was born on a farm in Georgia in 1914.

From Wisconsin. My grandparents salted every bite of their pizza. It was wild

23:15 i knew some kids who did play in a theater lol. They went to see Blue Beetle during Go Fest last year and a mega ray hatched in the middle of the movie so they were doing the raid in the theater like under their shirt or in their hoodie pockets lol. Thankfully no one saw that movie so the theater was mostly empty

Definitely agree with Steve that Campfire is really great. Not just for local raids but also community building and finding people to trade with in your area. Found a local group thats organizing golden lure parties and met someone else thats been hoarding pvp relevant legendaries so we can finally clear that inventory. Id have stopped playing a long time ago if i was still using just the base game and remote invites. Idk how people met up for lucky friend trades before.

I’ll start by saying I am a big fan of the podcast. One thing I’ve always appreciated is hearing views from people who play the different Pokemon games - Greg’s expertise on Masters & Unite, most of you on S&V and Go, and even Bobby’s perspective being added as a TCG collector. As someone who doesn’t play all the games, just knowing what’s going on, the good/bad has always been great. I think that’s why I found the competitive TCG coverage (Live and Worlds changes) this episode a bit disappointing. The sections had quite a bit of misleading or missing information that didn’t properly cover the backlash from the community on these issues. Particularly if you do come back round to these topics, having a competitive TCG player or even someone from discord who plays competitive regularly on the podcast I think would really help add the context and nuance to these discussions. And please eat salted pizza on stream - definitely curious now!
