wait on bulbapedia the description on the pester ball is you have to reach 72 500 exp to gain pester balls in pokemon snap so I'm guessing that when your exp bar limit is 72 500 you put in the code blue to red to orange then strait to purple, you get the pester ball and then you use it on any pokemon and it will transform into ditto, but that's my theory but please like I appreciate it a lot thank you

Is there a level in GO! that requires exactly 72.5K exp to level up? Also, if you miss it at 72.5K, would that mean it's impossible for you to catch ditto? I don't think Niantic would do that (or at least I hope they wouldn't). Interesting theory, regardless!

My theory is that if u find a wild geodude, u throw a pokeball to the sky and in mid air, feed the geodude raspberry and double click ur home button, then switch to airplane mode, then turn off ur gps, drink some bleach, then move the x axis by -3, restart ur phone, and open pokemon go at 4:20am, discard all ur pokeballs and ur highest cp pokemon, the geodude will become a 4000cp ditto.

7:53 to 8:08 Lachlan said that the middle color "purple" had no meaning as opposed to the outside colors which represented the team colors. I have a theory myself: I looked up mixing paint colors red blue and yellow and the color comes out as a dark purple which makes sense with the middle color being purple. So possibly in an upcoming update if you were to join alliance with other teams or switch teams, individually, to every team and somehow become team purple maybe you could be awarded with a Ditto. Also the middle color (purple) could just represent Ditto's body color for some reason.

I think you are on the right track with the pester ball. I tried it and I realized that Dark red Indigo Teal Teal Orange I don't know if this works but dark red would fit in the red category and teal is a blue. Now if you drag your finger there is no way to spell it out. What you do is you hold down the pokeball then click the red then the purple then the blue two times and finally the orange. I feel like this could lead to something. Sadly I have yet to see a bulbasaur yet. I would love for someone to try this and get that ditto.

I want you to try some theories about catching Ditto: 1. If you have two Poliwags call one "duplicate" or "Ditto" and evolve him (or breed him, Idk). ( If you ask why, it is because they have the same cry) 2. If you have two same pokemon with the same moves, call one of them duplicate or ditto and breed or evolve him. 3. Battle against this Magikarp with another high CP Magikarp named "Ditto". 3. Finally, you will be able to activate "Struggle" enough times to win. 4. guys south america doesn't have pokemon go completely yet but when it is released for all of south america then ditto is going to be the regional pokemon. just wanted to let you guys know it is not an easter egg

This might help when you evolve evee you can see dittos shape after Lapris and before evee (when it registers to pokedex)

I've seen ditto on my pokedex when you catch a new Pokemon. Like Today I evolved my evee to flareon and while it was being added to the pokedex I saw shadowed blob right above it and it's shape and size looked exactly like ditto

Maybe the egg screen letters are a anogram for the code for the pokemon color sceem that you have get right for a ditto to appear

Actually, there are seven Pokemon that have never been caught, seventh Pokemon being Farfetch'd.

Lachlan you can catch ditto by going out on a rainy or cloudy day catch any Pokemon and tap on it and if you see purple (if you see a ditto body part) you upgrade it and there you go you should have ditto

I bet they haven't added ditto because when he battles he only knows transform and they don't know how to implement that into the game...

Since in the series ditto is a bulbasaurs that is transformed back by by this special pokeball i dont know the name of, but has the same colours as when u hold down your pokeball simbol, could it be that u have to decode a bulbasaur that u come across?

I have found a ditto once, I was gonna catch a pidgey, and when I caught it, it turned out to be a ditto when it was registered in the Pokédex.. me and my cousin both caught it!

If you click on an item such like a potion then swipe left the egg menu comes up but the eggs dont show up
