Um, actually, both scenes where Pikachu talk are very specific to the person hearing them. In Pokemon I Choose You it's implied that Pikachu isn't speaking but rather Ash just understands Pikachu to the point that he knows exactly what it's saying and what it means, like a pet who you know is hungry because it nudged your hand. In Detective Pikachu it's stated that Tim is the only one who can hear the titular detective, because of the aforementioned Mewtwo in fact. Basically, neither of them are actually technically speaking English/Japanese/any language a typical human can understand. We would only hear them say "pikachu!" if we were there, but hear them as a viewer out of convenience. As pedantic as it is, this game is all about little pedantic things like that, so...

If you meant the country, you can catch it in southern Canada below the 52nd parallel (I believe), and in parts of northern Mexico (I don't know the cutoff line for that one), as well as not spawning in Hawai'i or Alaska or the Southern tip of Florida (as well as various other US islands). If you meant the continent, then it doesn't spawn North of the 52nd parallel, south of whatever latitude the cutoff is in northern Mexico, anywhere else in North America or anywhere in South America at all.

Um actually, I'd argue that Orbeetle isn't named in reference to an "orb", but rather an "orbit" as it is shaped like a flying saucer, along with being a mad scientist. In any case, I don't think an orb or an orbit are technically shapes, an orb would be in the shape of a sphere and an orbit is in the shape of an oval/circle/ovoid or some other shape depending on the path it takes - some orbits irregular. And super technically orbits on a flat plane in reference to the thing that they're orbiting are only that shape in 2-D, but most objects orbiting the center of mass of a solar system are orbiting in a somewhat helical shape following the path of the star which is likely spinning around the center of mass of a galaxy which is entirely being flung into a direction determined by the gravity of other celestial objects which I will not go further into for this Um Actually. I did check the definition of "orb" though. And it can technically be synonymous with sphere, but arguably better definitions say that orbs are OBJECTS or things that are in the shape of a sphere.

Um Actually there are other moves that smeargle can't sketch, probably because the article that Michael used is outdated, because he stopped at gen 5, we're currently in the middle of gen 8, and it seems like he was only doing a quick fact check (I'm also gonna include the ones he did mention to say why they don't work and to clarify the gens in which they aren't able to be sketched, since I think Michael misspoke a bit). Also keep in mind that this comment is written on New Year's day (January 1st) of 2022, so there might be eventual changes The unincluded ones are: mimic, mirror move, sleep talk, Z-moves; Partner pikachu exclusive moves; Partner Eevee exclusive moves; All new moves released in pokemon Sword and Shield(except for Life dew and only in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl) and lastly if you want to be incredibly pedantic Trading Card Game specific moves Clarifying generations (I will explain why these are the case below): Explosion, Mirror Move, Sleep talk and Self Destruct can be copied in gen 3 and later. Mimic, Transform, Metronome can be copied in Pokemon Ruby and Saphire, as well as gen 4 games onwards. Here are the reasons(I've ordered them in order of mention, though I have grouped some moves that have similar reasons as to why they are unavailable): Struggle: as mentioned by Terence, it's cause struggle is a move that only exists as like a placeholder move, that your pokemon use when it is unable to use any of it's regular moves (another comment details reasons as to why Pokemon Struggle other than PP reasons). Since it is not a normally selectable move it can't be traced Chatter: signature move of Chatot and this was probably because Chatter was a move with a feature that allows you to record audio with your DS mic in old Diamond and Pearl, in which when Chatot was sent out or used the move, it would repeat the audio, since Chatot is a parrot. Since it had such a unique and quite complicated feature, they might have restricted Smeargle from sketching it since it would probably be a hastle, hence they hard restricted it to nat allow the use. Although, this feature was removed when Pokemon moved to the DS era, Smeargle is still unable to learn it, probably because you can teach it to Smeargle, then trade said Smeargle back to the old games where it still had that feature. Fun fact this is also why Chatot was banned from competitive play during the DS era, because you could record ANYTHING. Self-destruct and Explosion: for sketch to work the pokemon must have used the move you want to sketch and be targetable. Since Explosion and Self-destruct will kill the pokemon using it , when Smeargle tries to sketch it, it will find that it's target is no longer there for it to sketch the self KOing move, because it died ("fainted'). The reason why you can sketch it in gen 3 onwards, is due to the introduction to the ability 'damp' which passively makes sure that if any pokemon on the field tries to use self destruct or explosion, the ability will make it fail, hence as long as you get into a double battle (2v2) where one pokemon on the field has damp and another pokemon uses explosion, the user won't self KO itself after using the move, so the Smeargle can target and sketch it Transform and mimic: Transform makes it so the user of the move transforms into it's target with all of the target's stats, except HP and replacing all of the users MOVES with the target's moves. Mimic makes it so the moveslot that has mimick on it will be replaced by a move of a chosen target. Since the moveslot with mimic or transform is replaced with another move, it can't copy said moves. The reason you can copy it in Ruby and Saphire is because you can make the target pokemon sleep. When that target pokemon tries to use mimic or transform it will fail since it's sleeping, so the moveslot isn't swapped, however the game has already noted that those moves were used, even if it did fail due to sleep, so smeargle can copy the move. This trick was fixed in the other gen 3 games. Pokemon has changed it starting from gen 4, so that you can now copy transform/mimic normally without trickery. Metronome, Mirror move, Sleep talk. These 3 moves are all moves that cause the user to use another move(metronome makes the user use a random move, mirror move makes it use the last move the target used and sleep talk makes the user use one of it's other moves at random when asleep). Since all of these moves make it so the user uses another move directly after, when Smeargle sketches the other move rather than metronome/sleep talk/mirror move. Metronome is the same case as transform and mimic with the sleep trick, then just normally being able to be sketched after Pokemon made changes. Sleep talk and mirror move can fail normally, so they didn't have to rely on the sleep trick, the user just has to be awake when using sleep talk(ironically) for it to fail and for the case of mirror move, the target just has to either not have used a move, fainted or switched out to fail, so you can mimic these 2 moves in all gen 3 games. Youy couldn't do this in gen 2, because the move failing in that gen, was counted as not being used. (I'm honestly not 100% certain about sleep talk and mirror move, so please correct me if I'm wrong) Shadow moves: Moves that only modified pokemon in the spin off games pokemon colosseom and pokemon XD are able to use, signifying that it is still impure. Since they are not normal moves but instead only temporary moves that get replaced as the pokemon get purified, Smeargle can't sketch those moves Sketch: for obvious reasons Z-moves: a mechanic added in gen 7, in which with the use of a Z-crystal of a corresponding type, you get a one time per battle move that deals a lot of damage if it's an attacking move, or increases some stats if it's a status move(moves that don't deal direct damage). This is because it is a move that pokemon don't normally have access to, and if smeargle were to just be able to use super powerful Z-moves without the use of the crystal, it would be OP Moves that only the partner Eevee/partner pikachu learn from the let's go games: These refer to moves that only your starter in the let's go games can learn, not even Pokemon that share the same species as said starters from the same game can learn them. Smeargle doesn't exist in the let's go games, and you can't trade those partner pokemon to other games where smeargle do exist. Even if it did I doubt that they would allow it Sword and Shield moves(except Life Dew in BDSP): This is because Smeargle does not exist in Sword and Shield at all, thus it cannot sketch anything due to it's non-existence. Life Dew is an exception, because it is the only move(as far as I know) that was introduced in SwSh that can be learned by Pokemon that do exist in Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl, like Togetic, without the use of a move Tutor (an NPC that allows your pokemon to learn moves), hence since Smeargle does exist in BDSP it can Sketch it. Smeargle will probably be able to sketch all of the moves if he is put into SwSh, or those moves are added to future games where Smeargle except, other than the Max moves (moves that that are used while a pokemon is Dynamaxed, Gigantamaxed or Eternamaxed) for the same reason as Z-moves TCG exclusive moves: Refers to all of the moves that are only found in the TCG, which is a lot of the moves in the TCG(my favourite is Everyone explode now). Smeargle doesn't even have Sketch in the TCG, so obviously it can't copy those moves

10:16 - The attacks on the Mario Pikachu card are: Coin collect: Flip a coin until you get tails, then draw from your deck according to the number of times you got heads. Super Jump: Flip a coin. If heads, deal 50 extra damage.

32:55 Um actually there are other situations in which a Pokemon can use Struggle. One such situation is if a Pokemon is holding a Choice item such as Choice Scarf (which restricts it to using one move) and is afflicted by moves such as Taunt or Disable (which can lock out the use of the chosen move).

Um actually, Mewtwo has never been shown to be able to SPEAK the English language. He can communicate telepathically, but if anything that would probably indicate that he can tap into every creature's consciousness and communicate perfectly with them. EDIT: it does seem like Mewtwo, like Pikachu in Detective Pikachu, actually speaks when a human takes over its body. Philosophically, however, we can question if we would consider it to be Pikachu and Mewtwo speaking or the humans possessing their bodies.
