I laughed so hard when his Revaroom ran off to cause destruction, the Revarooms in this game are out for everyone trying to do an outbreak of them is like walking into oncoming traffic they go straight for you.

That magikarp reminds me of the time my pawmo was in let's go mode and ran all the way across the desert, ignoring other pokemon, until it finally hit a wall and stopped. Sadly, it did not count toward his 1,000 steps to evolve, butit was hilarious.

I like the way they introduced the elite 4 in gen 9, because apart from maybe 3 or 4 exceptions (correct me if I miscalculated), you only met elite 4 members at the end of victory road and they just stay stuck in that limbo and your aren’t typically inclined to return there to fight them again, you know?, meanwhile in this generation you meet them during your gym battling journey (and one is a teacher at the school who’s classes you can take to get to know him more).

Yeah the E4 in this game feel way more familiar, especially if you've done the events at the school with Hassel. The only other E4 that does this is the Kahunas in Gen 7, Lance, and Flint as far as I know. I also liked how there was an interview beforehand because that felt a lot more realistic in comparison to just barging in and fighting them, though I think expanding upon the idea of it being an assessment rather then just E4 and champ would be a cool idea, like you have to do certain small but difficult overworld tasks too in the facility before fighting each one (stuff that's easy to do on repeat playthroughs for challenge runners of course, but hard on the first try). Being a champion shouldn't just be about who's the strongest, so having more intelligence or perceptive based tests would be nice too. It would also give more flavor to each E4 member outside of their room design, character design, Pokemon, and personality.

She shows up in the holocaster and is the wife? of Lysandre, which is very cool IMO because it shows how well she was able to infiltrate media and the league. Probably the only competent member of Team Flare tbh. I'm surprised I forgot about her lmao

34:20 Wimpods in Ultra Sun/Moon were supposed to respawn daily, yet I had to wait for, like, a month before another one showed up, so those Gimmighouls may respawn "daily" as well.

Mikey, just a note about the performance issues at Casseroya lake, I have also had terrible fps there everytime I go there so I think it just has something to do with the water, not you specifically. Also, you don't have to catch the gimmighouls, you can just kill them and you get the same amount of coins.

Gimmeghoul spawns at ruins and watchtowers and respawns every day. Wandering form may show up on rocks, signs, ruins, or anything that stands out.

Mikey use the cheer function in raids. You can increase everyone's defense offense and heal. Makes it that much easier

My reaction when Poppy was revealed to be a member of the Elite Four I laughed so hard my sides felt like they were close to literally splitting.

Apparently she's not only the strongest Paldean elite four member, she's one of the strongest Elite Four members in the entire franchise. Funny thing is Moylane is also considered one of the hardest and he's also steel type.

I think Mikey forgot that in the pokemon world, even children can become strong trainers. Not sure why he's so against Poppy being an Elite Four. Clearly she's strong enough.

Thank you! I've noticed that people forget the type changes, not the attacks the mons have while in Tera Raids, so I'll go into a raid against a Dark-tera, actual-Fairy type mon with fighting types. Then, they consistantly get one shot because the original type and moveset wasn't taken into consideration.

As someone who doesn’t care that much about graphics and performance issues I think that this is the best Pokémon game yet.

15:03 if you collect a certain amount of them you actually get a legendary Pokemon there's different colors each different color is a different type of legendary you have to collect 32 of them to summon one legendary there's 32 of each different color the colors are red yellow blue and purple

Mikey, there’s a great place to farm in front of the fairy base. It has a lot of golduck and chansey and let you grind really easily. The levels scale up way higher after the main sequences of each event.

I got 2 Fuecocos in surprise trade (1F from Japan 1M from Spain) and thought "Cool I can breed them" MY FIRST EGG WAS A SHINY!!!

Good tip- if a quick ball fails, you can just run and re-encounter the pokemon until the quick ball works. (Can’t run from gimmighoul though)

I got such bad luck in a 4* Fire Type Oricoco battle. I sent out my Dragalge. Dragalge got Paralyzed+Immobilized for the first FOUR turns. I was able to get two Surfs in. Got stuck for another three turns, then Dragalge got fainted. I was doing it Solo, and the AI Teammates did more damage than I did.

Hey Michael I would recommend getting a team you will use for the rest of the game and train them up the elite four and champions are extremely hard

Love the team Mikey! Glad Quaquaval is getting some love.

Two things, 1, you can buy mints in montenevera. 2, I think the game doesn't move your character back in battle on the towers because there isn't enough room. On the lower levels you're already on the edge.

I finished getting all the gimmighoul coins yesterday and my thoughts are; If you just go to the watch towers along the story you just finish quicker at getting gholdengo

I wonder if anyone ever told him you do NOT need to catch Gimmighouls to get the coins

Just as a tip, if you terastalize a Pokémon to a type it already has, it gains a second stab boost. So, if Annihilape terastalized into fighting, it’s fighting moves would have 2x stab boost.

Tinkaton is quite good, especially with Gigaton Hammer a base 160 power move with 100 accuracy and the only downside is you can't use the move two times in a row.

I am gonna laugh *SOOO* hard if it turns out there is no climb and he has to actually try to puzzle his way to places. You know, explore and actually try stuff. Like people usually do. Not just crunch numbers and google the answers lol

This series is so good it should have a disclaimer at the beginning on every episode.

I caught my first shiny (full odds) while watching this! It was a noibat!!!❤❤❤

So fun fact, you can catch or kill coin boy to get the same number of coins. Tower chests usually hold upwards of 80. Mobile form usually carries 1-5. Additionally, the gimmieghouls in chests are static while mobile form respawns. EDIT: Someone said there are 25 static locations, with 50 coin bundle minimum, so you would be well over the 999 minimum to evolve one. To get more then one, you’ll need to grind.

I like the personality they gave to the gym leaders

Anyone else never had any major performance problems? Aside from a few frame rate drops that lasts for like 5 seconds, I haven’t had any at all.
