What they don't tell you is that you have to grind BP in order to get the Starters to spawn in their respective Biomes. Each Biome requires 3,000 BP apiece, but it's not a complete chore since the BBQs are rather simple...Either way, HAVE FUN, TRAINERS!

Aside from the Charizard, Empoleon, and Greninja I already had, I went with Typhlosion, Blaziken, Infernape, Pignite, Delphox, Incineroar, Cinderace, Venusaur, Bayleef, Sceptile, Torterra, Serperior, Rowlet, Blastoise, Feraligatr, Swampert, and Oshawott.

You know, I wish the game looked as good as the trailers. Stable frame rates would be nice.

@@dnmstarsi You can shiny hunt them very easily, all of the starters appear on zones where their type is unique, you can make a shiny sandwich for each type and you are almost guaranteed than in less than 30 minutes you'll get a starter shiny, unless you are hunting for specifics, like myself, I wanted a shiny female Popplio, that took a little longer.

Bro, the entire DLC is set in Unova with the Black and White battle themes, sweeping Unova area medleys in every biome, references everywhere from Drayton to Chargestone Cavern, the secret boss using all the Unova starters, and the Monochromatic Room design for the BB club room having everything from a miniature Nimbasa Ferris Wheel and Skyarrow Bridge artwork to the Castelia City theme literally being in the jukebox. @@Royal420Way Yes, when you base the marketing of your DLC on the fact you can get all starters without even mentioning the need to unlock them first, it's a problem. The big reveal in Smash Ultimate for "everyone is here" made sure to take note of the need to unlock any fighter outside of the original 8. Transparency never hurts.

@@CinnaBox the game still runs at 12 fps on a very regular basis. It makes Star Fox on SNES look like it has a great frame rate. If you’re tolerant of a garbage game, good for you. I am not. I got this using the vouchers as something to play while I waited for Tears of the Kingdom to come out. I had not played Pokémon since Red/Blue on GameBoy (unless you count Go). I was expecting something that at the least had a decent frame rate and didn’t randomly shut down and restart losing work done in the game. If I could I would get a refund cause I don’t even play this garbage anymore.

Look at all these Pokémon you've removed only to sell them back later!

I honestly loved seeing some of these guys in the wild for the first time, just doing their thing. Swimming Squirtle was actually emotional...

Each BBQ takes you a minimum of 2 minutes average 20 pts each, with 200 for a red quest so minimum of 20+ mins for 400 pts so around 10 hours to get all the points you need to get all starters

Well and I was awaiting performance boosts but here we are

I wonder how the sales for the DLC are with all of the many KZread community posts they've been doing. Zelda TOTK quickly put out many patches to prevent glitches that were hard to encounter and even desired by players. The Pokemon Company shows immediacy in investigating copyright infringement with that Pal World game or whatever it's called while people criticized TPC for using fan altered music in a trailer.

@@shaunavant532 It's not about realism, it's about gameplay. It is just awful that the pokemon that is supposed to follow you just keeps popping in and out of reality. It isn't even realistic because Regieleki is so slow despite being the fastest pokemon alive. The Lets Gos didn't have this problem, SwSh started this thing by copypasting the Camp speed stats which were only usable in Camp without breaking the game.

The BP requirement for starters is wild, this is why folks hex and cheat Gonna sit there and act like every single player groups up and farm BP the same way they expect the community to have at least a single brain cell when it comes to public raiding

Hiding the starters behind grindy missions arent a big deal since it also adds to the requirements to unlock the (shiny locked) legendary static encounters. I just wish the ability to walk around as your pokemon included attacking pokken style instead of the autobattle Or that they brought back triple battles since we technically are up in unova....

Fix the base game

You can also get the Starter Pokémon by Wonder trading, or trading with other Players who have them. Ypu don't need the DLC to get these Pokémon or any othe Pokémon from the DLC.

To get the starters you have to get 12000 BBQ points by grinding the bbq quest for about 10+ hours so you can upgrade all the biomes which is 3000 each, then they are a rare spawn which you’re only going to find one or two them unless you get lucky with an outbreak or make a specific sandwich to make more spawn and even THEN they’re all starting at lvl 55 so good luck using or even catching any of them for you main Journey through paldea

It is the reason I did not complete the second DLC. You have to battle a level 70 trainer to get into that part of the game and then you just see the same small number of pokemon walking around. If pokemon was just present without unlocking them and the starting level was lower I might have continued.

Did you fix your base game yet did you fix the frame rate because I haven't played that in months because I'm trying to figure out whether to buy your DLC or not and I still have it because you haven't fixed and patched your base game I'm still playing Pokemon Sword because at least that game is is runs great

Instead of all this dlc I wish they would have taken the time to fix this games rendering and graphical issues as well as the frame rate drops. Give the game the polish it should have had to begin with.

Since the best parts of both those games is the story, I'm hoping the next game will have something truly amazing, not just for Pokémon games but for games in general. I love the stories in SV and PLA (even if the PLA story is basically just Mystery Dungeon but with humans) so very very much.

I like how they added more content to the game, instead of fixing an polishing what they already had, like the bas framerate, the graphical glitches, the missing collision, and fake buildings in the towns.

was it really that hard for the world's most profitable franchise to actually have battle camera like in this trailer in the games? also FrameRates that go above Nintendo 64 performance would be nice

Loved the DLC. Kieran has become my favorite Pokémon character, wish we see more of him in future games. The BBA Elite Four, I haven't had this fun with a Pokémon battle since I stopped playing competitive. The whole story involving Terapagos was great, that Master Ball moment was insane. All the little details like Kieran and Carmine reacting to Ogerpon, or the player allowing Kieran to catch Terapagos and how he reacts. The music. All the Unova references. The epilogue was hilarious, such a great way to break from all the tension of the main storyline. The quests involving Perrin felt like something out of the anime, specially that Bloodmoon Ursaluna introduction. That whole time loop with the professors at the Crystal Pool was so unexpected. The updated teams for Geeta and Nemona to show their true ability. I could go on. Gen 9 has become my favorite, even above gen 5 which I still love.

For the love of Arceus someone please teach Gamefreak how to make 3D textures
