Crendor, my favorite NPCs are the little easter eggs, like Tweek. In Valdrakken at 58, 23 there's an NPC watering a flower. If you talk to him he'll face you and water you, and you get the buff "Watered!"

Why would the bread vendor sell bread recipes. He doesn't want you to steal his job

There's a Dancing Darryl Murloc in Hearthstone Battlegrounds. I imagine they were carnies or something and managed to escape and live out their lives in Dalaran.

Headcannon for bread tauren: he's selling the recipes because he bought them wanting to learn how to make them, so he could also sell fish dishes, but it was too much for him. He's a bread guy, so now he's like, well, I can't use these, guess I'll sell them.

What I find fascinating about Jerkin Joe is that he can put together actual sentences, how many murlocs we know of can do that? Maybe Sir Finley Mrrgglton can say a thing or two but this guy can say entire sentences...

Tiktak the Hozen is in fact not a Carpenter, but a Shipwright since he's building a boat. Carpenters build other stuff.

Deryl may also refer to "Dancing Deryl" a Dancing Murloc in Hearthstone Battlegrounds who is a silly little guy who gives hats to minions in the tavern. Never knew he had a brother. Maybe he's a parallel universe version? Who knows?

Jerkin Joe is very likely based on Michigan J. Frog, look it up, from Merrie Melodies which is part of Loony Tunes. He was also the former mascot of the WB from 1995 to 2005.

I’d guess Jerkin Joe is a reference to the top hat frog who sings “Hello my baby!”

The fish recepies on the bread vendor is not just him. This happens because they at one point added the sagefish recepies to several vendor 'types' and were a bit overzealous with it, giving it to vendors who had no real reason to get it. Most vendors just get assigned a default list for 'bread' or 'drinks' or 'booze' etc. They never fixed it because it was in long enough that people would complain if they did remove it.

I'm watching this video again because I genuinely forgot, which makes this the perfect list.

Jerkin Joe is 100% a visual reference to Michigan J Frog.
