50 years ago I attended the Royal Ballet. Margot Fonteyn wore Freed of London pointe shoes so, of course, we all wore them! I could get through them like a crazy woman because I practiced, practiced, and practiced. Then I got hit by an 18 wheeler. What a bummer! 19 years all down the drain. Then I realized that those 19 years taught me self discipline, kindness, the joy of life. So nothing was wasted. I then became a Physician who have treated many dancers. Funny how life can change in one moment. I adore your channel. Thank you for looking after dancers and future dancers of the world. I mean what would life really be like without ballet❤

As a toddler i used to walk around on the tips of my toes after seeing ballet on PBS. My mom put me in dance classes before i was three, because she was worried i was going to hurt myself 😂

If all the dinosaurs were as light on their feet as Rex-meralda was, they probably could've outrun that meteor

If no one else has said it, the Titanic reference is when Rose is down with the third class passengers, and their dancing, and she goes en pointe in her stockinged feet... I think.

I used to be an excellent bal-let dancer. All the spins, kicks, jumps and prancing around on stage was 2nd nature to me. Then I took an arrow to the knee... (Not really. I can't dance to save my life. But I like watching people who can)
