That first pair of heels (with the clear box and pink ribbons) are "ballerina" fetish shoes. And generally, they're not so much for just tooling around. More for fetish photo shoots, stage shows, or scenes where you're not really standing or walking much. Pretty much the whole point is how restrictive they are.

Skratch (for those who don't know) is an electrolyte drink mix- a lot like Nuun, Tailwind, etc. It's great for distance runners, cyclists, or anyone working out hard and long who needs to stay hydrated and fueled. If you have a long day in the studio or double shows, it's a great way to take care of yourself and improve your recovery rate.

@@evelyn_r Essentially. However, Gatorade and Powerade are primarily crafted to be tasty, colorful, and appealing to everyone- rather than healthy. Power/Gatorade are better than nothing if your electrolytes are depleted but they are not what I'd recommend as a first choice from a sports nutrition perspective due to high levels of additives meant to attract consumers (artificial flavors, dyes, brominated vegetable oil etc) and the fact that far superior products are out there.

@@kst4878 thanks for your response, was just curious as those are the only electrolyte drinks in the drink aisles here in Aussie supermarkets to my knowledge (I may be wrong as I don't drink those types of drinks and some of the powerades do have no colours nor sugar in them). I always have been more of the plain water drinker during my dance classes and performances and have not heard of those ones in the original thread post, and can only assume they're from overseas.

A reminder to y'all that just because something was made for fetish doesn't mean everyone who wears it is engaging in fetish or that they are always fetish gear. Harnesses and collars were also originally fetish gear. But now they're staples in fashion of certain aesthetics that can be completely detached from fetish play. Someone wearing these shoes isn't inherently a fetishy act. Don't impose it on them if that isn't their intention. They can just be fashion items as well.

When you said how ballet dancers walk into the store made me think about when my middle daughter took dance. I remember how she would walk. And then one time at church, one of the women was teaching and I could see her legs and feet underneath the table. She was standing in one of the positions…can’t remember which one. After I asked her if she was a dancer and she said yes and asked how I knew. Told her she was standing in that position. She hadn’t danced in years but it was still a habit.

We looked at it when talking about prosthetics or art that uses the body and how you can use these items to alter how the body works. In this case, it forces the wearer to stand and move in a specific way. I also believe there is a series by the same person of other shoes as well. Don't remember the artist's name though.
