@@bignuge11 it's low budget, but yea, it still works. For more comfortable mapping make some upgrades: awak gems, inpulsa with +2 aoe/duration gems and use HoT setup in it.

thanks! I will try to make it later in the league, busy with hexblast atm. For now u can buy awak gems, amulet anoint with +1 curse (so can add ele weakness), charms with mana reservation (need total 28%) to be able to add Aspect of the spider and have enough mana for triggers (aspect gives dmg and survivability). Or charms with frenzy on hit, exposure extra -res, 2% life/mana/ES on kill etc

@@Arifou I used Conductivity in helmet, so if we want to add ele weakness, we should use curse setup in body (or staff), so u need at least 5L body, with cwdt lvl 1, crackling lance lvl1, hextouch lvl 20, conductivity 20, ele weakness 20 As for aspect, no, u can't add it to unique item, only to rare via beastcraft, need open suffix

I have this version with Cane of Kulemak staff: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZyTzq2MfZzYgKw.html but without helmet enchant we need 3 charms with total 28-30% reservation efficiency to compensate the loss of it Also u can just make some upgrades for current low budget version: awak gems, better helmet, 2nd curse, 6L Inpulsa with +2 AoE/duration gems and use HoT there, charms (reservation to add aspect of the spider or just charms with some dmg)

Farming them scarabs ty for this

thanks for sub! I wrote in description, that we can add 3 charms for 8-12% mana reservation (or take extra passives in tree), then we can add Aspect of the Spider. Or charms for frenzy on hit, 2% life/ES/mana on kill

thanks! Because Light of divinity gives us no dmg at all. HoT is not counted as a spell, so mods for spell dmg or spell crit don't work

Amazing build ! Been playing it for a while now and i must say, its a breeze, but i'd like more juice. If you dont mind, what would be a good transition to your high end build ? Equipment first and then the passive tree ? I managed to secure a good cane and the crown, but i need the enchant on the helmet. Thanks in advance !

Thanks! My high budget version is not the best in case of dps. Annihilating light still gives more dmg than Cane of Kulemak, but Cane allows to get more life and ES from Sirus's helmet, because we can cap res more easily. So if u want more dmg, keep annihilating, add awak gems, amulet anoint for +1 curse, add ele weakness to the cwdt setup with conductivity, also add charms for reservation (to add aspect of the spider), or general dmg like frenzy on hit, non-chaos dmg as extra chaos, effect of curses, etc

I have loved this build ever since I rolled it into my testing…. Yeah that’s what our group does; test and validate content creator builds and then grade them for internal uses. Anyhow, I just realized I should’ve made this build #2 after league start. Stacking one more stat and no where near the power, this becomes the biggest money maker this league hands down.

Yes, it's not the best starter because requires many uniques (which can be expensive in first few days of the league, so need to play self-cast some time), but overall it's fairly cheap and goop mapper

Just checked in POB, added perf roll Crest and removed annihilating light (we have double dmg from crest, so annihilating is not so strong now), added Agnerod South staff instead and got only 3.1M DPS. So, with crest it will be probably cheaper, but dmg potential is lower. My version with awak gems and better clusters, Inpulsa with +2 aoe/duration and HoT there, second curse etc can reach 8-12M I guess. In Crest u can't add awak gems :)

Playing your higher budget version of this build and the mapping is so smooth! Perfect for jungle valley altar farming, or linear layout maps where you zap all the monsters in one pass. The next and last large upgrade I was considering is progenesis instead of the magic amethyst flask (moving curse reduction on the quicksilver), is it fine to use it or would you not recommend it?

Hey there! Thanks for the nice and fun build. I have put together almost identical gear and jewel as in lvl96 pob but my pob says I deal 2.2m but yours is at 4m dps. What am I missing? or this build got some nerf when 3.24 came?

if u say same gear - most likely difference is just in pob config, you probably didn't set all buffs and debuffs. Or gear is not actually identical. My POB is rdy for 3.24, and there are no legacy items or mods there

thanks! sure, with mageblood it will be much faster and more tanky. Probably quicksilver and 3 elemental flasks. Or quicksilver, amethyst, topaz and granite, because phys dmg is a problem. Or maybe jade instead of amethyst or topaz

League started with some off brand HoT Bomber build, the video where i found it has already been deleted, so your 3.22 guide saved me, tyvm for that. I am currently following your 3.21 "Expensive" HoT Guide, the Cane staff feels so much better just because of the normal resistances, didnt get one with pure double damage yet but with double damage while focused (which i still want to replace tho), I am currently struggling with finding out how to craft the amulet (+1 lightning fracture, alt spam till chaos res, then regal, followed by aisling for attributes and then crafting life, not sure if that is how youre supposed to do it tho since i suck at crafting). I would love to see an even more expensive version of the build since i didnt have this much fun with a build ever since early spellslinger VD. I wish i could support you with more than a comment, like and sub, sadly thats currently not possible, if it will be possible at some point i definitely will!

I bought that amulet, it was without aspect for sure, so I just added it later with beast. Try to livesearch it maybe, because I do not craft often, especially amulets. And you actually can use Voice of the Storm, it gives much more dmg than rare amulet, but no chaos res, ES and need to get strength and dex somewhere, but dps becomes almost 8M instead of 7. As for even higher budget, yeah, I wanted to make it in 3.22, but decided to try few new builds, so had no time for it. Maybe in 3.23, but from what I saw already, they are even less tanky with lower life and ES pool, but 3 large clusters, so they can reach 20-30M dps, at least they could in 3.22

Hello, don't you think taking heart of destruction and master mind of discord is only half way useful? Since those nodes grant exposure which works for damage over time. Isn't it good to go with golems and their buffs?

exposure works for all dmg, it's lowering res like curse, so works for hits too. And heart of destruction is amazing both for clear and bossing: 60% aoe means HoT will hit mobs further away and explosions from inpulsa are bigger, then on bosses it's 30% more dmg every 8 sec for 4 sec duration

Thinks this is possible SSF? pretty new to POE in general but I just got a Storm Secret ring so was looking at builds for it. Also have Agnerod West which obviously isn't as good as Anni but still seems strong and likely far less squishy with it being harder to get the res on SSF.

Agnerod South would be better btw, it's good option for low budget too, lower dmg of course, but no downside with res penalty. If u can get Inpulsa on SSF - then yes, it will work. Need explosions, it doesn't have any clear without them, only single target hits

Hey just made this character with the lvling and switched after maps. Currently lvl 81 loving it trying to improve and make some lvls for skill points. For atlas tree you suggest legion, harvest and expedition like in the vid example? Dno what tree i should make for bomber

Hi! It's not bad for those league mechanics, but in general I just ran alch and go maps with exarch altars, taking mods that eldritch minions drop something. Eldritch embers are pretty expensive now, so it's good money. Also you will get a lot of unmakings, regrets, chaos, awak sextants and div cards (which are also expensive nowadays, mean almost all of them, because people need them for div cards challenge or inscribed ultimatums) So, in tree - all exarch nodes and Wrath of the Cosmos, also can take Growing Hordes and use rusted scarabs for extra pack size of exarch mobs (and for 1000 tiers scarabs challenge if u haven't finished it yet)

great build, would love a continuation for a mid budget version with a bit more defensives. Most of the time I'm fine but every so often I get gibbed out of nowhere

it's difficult to add defenses here because we can't use auras. Some people use mageblood, it helps both with movement and survivability Probably as an option - can use Cloak of Fames body and get 3 occultist's charms for explosions (I didn't test it, just an idea how to get higher phys reduction)

@@Pyrojunia Herald of thunder doesn't provide aoe dmg, it hits 1 target, for aoe dmg we need inpulsa, cwdt setups with crackling lance and shock proliferation. Did you watch video actually? I wrote special for noobs, but you guys even too lazy to check timestamps 9:38, part about 1 enemy here 10:03

i tried your build, lvl 75 to lvl 90 was a breeze. Mapping was even easier

normal version still can be triggered, but vaal version we use on bosses to get frenzy charges

I loved that build but i was wondering if is possible to use chieftein to benefit of the res and the good regen instead of elemetalis, but im not sure if u can convert 100% lightning to fire to benefit of the -20% res to monster , idk if is a silly question or not , but if u can check it i think will somehow work and also be tankier.... P.s. im not an expert so just guessing

hi, there is no easy way to convert lightning to fire, only if we use 2 Call of the brotherhood rings to convert 96% lightning to cold and then Cold to Fire support + Avatar of Fire Keystone. But we lose ring slots and HoT will not trigger from anything except kills, not usable for bosses, and Storm Secret rings give 100% more dps here, big loss. For now, Elementalist, Inquisitor (crit), Assassin (crit), Pathfinder (poison) are the only viable choices. But elementalist is the easiest because it does't require big investment. Maybe there are some ignite versions, but they seem weaker

hi, it was giving 20% chance to freeze enemies for 0.35 sec, so it works completely fine with normal arctic armour

Would this work with ele conversion? Like, lightning - cold - fire? And make it an ignite build?

I don't see the reason and opportunity to do that. For lightning to cold we need 2 brotherhood rings, but we need at least 1 storm secret to make build work. som only 48% will be converted to cold. Moreover for ignite we can just take Shaper of Flames and get "all dmg can ignite, allways ignite", but dps will be lower for sure that this hit version, because HoT hits often with not very high average dmg, not good for ignites

Would it be possible to implement a petrified blood into the build? i think the build is lacking some kind of survivability

How are you triggering herald of thunder on boss fights? I see you frost blinking into bosses but can't see how it triggers herald. Also just noticed how old your game footage is footage is🧐

Frostblink can shock bosses (shaper of storms node), so rings activate HoT, then spells on cwdt setups refresh duration of HoT in boss fight. They trigger pretty often because of self dmg from rings and they also always shock Build has no changes few league, so I used old footage. I didn't have any enchants in this low budget version, so no nerf in 3.23, even small buff from new HoT quality of gem

Very cool build. Fast question, have you or anybody else tried the new version of Vortex? Playing it now with a occultist character and let me say it is a tough nut to crack. Since the cool down is gone it is now viable for traps, totems and mines. Currently messing with a trap version. The mechanics are unpleasant. Also vortex had a major nerf to its damage like all other cold based skills this league. We also need to increase skill effect duration which is a total pain. Using a prior POB to scale DOT damage, but need to also add trap damage at the same time. Really dislike how cold skills got a huge kick in the pants this time.

this build can't be much tankier because we can't use auras and elementalist doesn't have good defenses. Only thing that can help it's probably Mageblood. Actually you can take Bastion of Elements instead of Shaper of Winter, but imo it doesn't help a lot, because ele aegis will be lost fast just from self dmg from rings, so 30-40% chills is better defense for me

can you put the charms ? because the only thing i do is die. with that build, is impossible survive leeching life vs a boos, you cant restart the energy shield. or you are useing a another build for video. i use 200divine building with capped items.

it's not tanky, but auto-dmg is rly good "defensive" layer, kill them before they kill you

Absolute noob here first season and I made this build and am loving it, my only issue is I have no spell suppression? And I’m not sure how to fix it other than buying new gear which I don’t want to do any help please?

we can't get max suppression anyway, we need all of suffixes on rare items to cap our res. And also we want our gloves and boots to have some ES, so total health pool is higher. We can take only 22% suppress from tree. Hm, but actually if u buy 3 charms with 15% suppress and also take mastery "chance to suppress is lucky", then u can reach 89% (it's not real 89%, because of "lucky", but still can help)

is this build good ffor newbie? im currently lvl 70 now and i was wondering if my build is okay since i see so many guides about TR pathffinder its kinda confusing me,and i wish to make new and simple build

depends what newbie, if u have some currency to buy all items and copy this build, then playstyle is very simple, just frosblink 1-3 times per map, then run, avoid hits and take loot so if it's your first char and u have like 5-10c in stash - need to farm more with current build u have, then swap to HoT

gotta ask would a Headhunter improve on the build or just break it?

HH can give some movement and defenses, and little bit of dmg. But without rare belt (and abyss jewel in it) it will be much harder to cap res, and u lose 150 ES regen, when we have 187 ES regen total

Out of curiosity, would a crest of desire, agnerod (prob west), impulsa and an Ashes of the Star work as effective if I go the crit route? Not really liking the resistance setup because of that staff…

at low budget crest of desire with agnerod can be +- the same as Annihilating light or even better, but if u want to invest bit more - then annihilating light is the best for scaling high dmg. Check my high budget version in description, it has 64M DPS Capping res is not so hard, especially with charms

I already got the staff, 6-link impulsa, the gloves, one complete cluster set up and the rings. I’m doing it in a trickster tho because I like not dying. The necklace on ps5 is almost 20 divines rn….. 😵‍💫

nothing specific, it just was much cheaper than 21/20, so I took it (because it's low budget, I wanted to save money where it's possible), 3% frequency is not a big loss, ~1% dps

also high res rolls in boots, gloves, belt and that cheap 2c unique helmet And as I wrote in description, I am not fire res capped without flasks, have 60%, but with Wise Oak flask which uses only 15 charges - 74% fire res, so it's always up while mapping. And on top of that - res mod in amethyst flask to be sure

maps are always rare in all my videos, but just alch & go, so 4-5 mods with 50-70 quantity or 70-90 with chisels Can't run only ele reflect. No regen and less recovery are bad, but doable

any other staff gives much less dps. I often use Agnerod South before swapping to annihilating light. Another choice is Cane of Kulemak with +3 lvl support gems, 190% lightning dmg, 26% double dmg. But then you need to use empower lvl 3-4 instead of cruelty in 6L HoT Btw, capping res is very easy actually. Just need gloves, belt and boots with 2-3 good res, they are not too expensive. Rest of res from helmet and rare jewels, also cheap

1925 number is not mandatory, there is a lot of others that give Revitalising Lightning there: 7938, 6141, 2427, 5629, 880, 338, 7360, 206, 5673, 987, 5853 etc

u can add something if u want, for example if u have 5L body u can add here Inc AoE or Innervate for purifying flame. Probably I just levelled some gem in that 6th socket, so I removed it from POB

​@@Demonoloog I didn't craft neither belt, nor boots or gloves, I bought them on the market. Belt - only benchcrafted ES regen, so need to search belt with life, 2 res mods and open suffix. Same with gloves and boots, if open suffix - can benchcraft what you need: life or res. Then add implicits with lesser eldritch ichors and embers.

Does it matter where we 6L, Found an inpulsa with 6L and thinking about swapping around the gems between Staff and Armour.

Doesn't matter if no corrupts. You even can buy corrupted inpulsa with +2 aoe/duration gems and get 20% more dps if use HoT in it

I made 64M dps high budget version in 3.23, link in description, right under pob. But if new spectres and charms will not go core - dps can be lower in 3.24. Unless they add something to compensate the loss HoT is not the best starter because we need at least Inpulsa and 6L annihilating light to make it work, they may be expensive in first days of the league

hm, strange why levelling is a problem. Jugg BS was one the smoothest levelling I ever played, just need any 1 alch/c 2H rare or unique axe at lvl ~20, 40, 60. And as I wrote in that video we have to use another skill until lvl 30-35, so molten strike or splitting steel are good choices. I always use "regular" Neversink's filter for start of the league, then on maps slowly to semi-strict, strict and very strict

hi, it already exists, link to high budget version is in description, right under POB. But it was in 3.23, so with charms and spectres, need to remove them, so it's not possible to reach such dps and survivability in 3.24

hi, 7-7,5 div budget now, 6L staff is still 3-3.5 div, dropped from 4 in 3 days or so. As I wrote in description, upgrades are: awak gems, charms for reservation to be able to add spect of spider. Also can buy 6L impulsa with +2 AoE/duration gems and use HoT here.

it's bit squishy, so can be oneshots, need to be careful at doors and with high dmg spells/explosions

only few changes I guess: we can't now use phase run on left mouse button (so need automation support or press it manually every 4 sec), now max roll of ele res on flasks is 18-20%, while I had here 34% in amethyst flask, so capping res will be harder

That isn't so bad, but i guess i have to make a decision quickly between this build, explosive trap and bleed bow...but i reckon getting res cap might be a bit easier thanks to necropolis crafting system...and i guess the tattoos are back so it might help as well (thought i don't know much about them).

​@@Reilath HoT is not the best starter because it requires Inpulsa to make it work and it can be expensive in first days. So if you have some other starters - probably better take one of them. HoT is better as second char or 5-10 days after league start, when prices for many mid uniques drop a lot

I bought them on market, then added implicits with eldritch embers and ichors, much easier than craft pref and suffixes. But actually can roll with essences for res (screaming or shrieking of hatred, wrath or anger). Especially on fractured base with other t1 res locked.

As I mentioned in video, it's better to swap to HoT after lvl 70-80, when u have some items already. Before this need to use self-cast spells for mapping to earn some currency for mandatory uniques. So u don't actually need to use any piece of gear from that set when u self-cast

I have higher budget version with Cane of Kulemak, but it had helmet enchant for reservation (can replace with 3 primalist charms 8-12% reservation). kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZyTzq2MfZzYgKw.html Cane gives bit less dps than annihilating light, but no res penalty, easier to cap them, so we can use Crown of Inward Eye, total +600 life and +1k ES, at least bit more survivability. Or can just add awak gems, better clusters, corrupted Inpulsa with +2 aoe/duration gems and use HoT there, better helmet, second curse to this low budget version and it will be high budget

How this build lives? I don’t see tanki mechanics. This is build a glass gun?

main defensive mechanic - auto dmg, 8 hits per sec and explosions, mobs are slowed with chills + that fact that we deal dmg while moving, no need to stop. It's hard for mobs to hit moving target (run in circles on bosses). Also we have endurance charges and immortal call, some phys and ele reduction from pantheons

Hi! I wrote this in description: "can add 3 charms (Primalist ascendancy) for 8-12% mana reservation (or take extra passives in tree), then we can add Aspect of the Spider. With these upgrades both clear and survivability will be better." Or charms for frenzy on hit, effect of curses, non-chaos as extra chaos etc

@@RennanThe10 Shaper of winter allows to apply 30+ chills on enemies, so when they are slowed it's easier to dodge their hits or they even will not come close because of slower move speed. I tried Bastion of Elements, but imo it works bad here, it gives lot of hit pool and max hit taken only in POB, but in game that Primal Aegis will disappear very fast even from self-dmg from rings.

Can you help me on this build. My mobs are staying alive with 1hp constantly for the duration of Hearld and frost blink, sometimes multiple cast.. Occasionally they just blow up. I just keep dying because they are staying alive. Ty for your assistance.

idk what you mean "for the duration of Hearld and frost blink". How frost blink even connected with killing mobs or something. Idk why mobs have 1 hp for, probably you use different items. With my setup everything works. I provide POB review only for my supporters or buy me a coffee (links in description), it takes time to check everything and write recommendations. So, it's a compensation for my time

Ya i follows the guide I'm at level 71 now. I cast frost blink and the HoT goes off and it's fun to watch. Then none of the monsters die, no matter how many times i cat frost blink or HoT goes off. Then boom the whole group explodes. 😮 however, waiting for the big boom gets me killed sometimes😅 I'll have to look at this coffee thing you mentioned. I like the look of the class.

@@billyharris3214 seems you missed something, because it should explode frequently, always to be correct (if you do not have wandering path and very high effect of mods, then maps with 70% avoid ailments become 100% avoid and we can't turn on Herald and explode at all, so with wandering path you need to reroll avoid ailments on maps)

I change my atlas tree very often, but I almost always take all strongbox, shrines and exarch nodes. Also sometimes harvest, sometimes expeditions, sometimes breach. On this league also effect of devoted modifiers, more allflames dropped, chance to drop scarabs, effect of map mods for extra quant and packsize.

do you understand that exact same number is not mandatory? just Doryani name to get Corrupted Soul keystone, and there are hundreds of other numbers that give Revitalizing Lightning on that passive, use tools for timeless jewels to find them

@@diw123 when you buy any Glorious vanity with Doryani - you get the keystone we need. And number determines what changed small and big passives you get in radius. So you only need (still it's not mandatory) Revitalizing Lightning on big node for life leech, so there are tons of other numbers that give it. But you also can get life leech from large cluster

It's for inflicting 30-40% chills on enemies, also we get frenzy charges when kill enemies on chilled ground from Cold Snap while mapping. And Vaal Cold Snap on bosses also gives frenzy charges when boss is in radius of it

@@K2Gaming_ you do know that the "50% more effect with cold ailments" dont work right? because you doing alot more lightning damage then cold. your purifying flame(27%) is doing a better chill than your Coldsnap(19%) because of unbound ailments ig for getting Frenzy charges is okay to use vaal cold snap, but phase run is just gonna eat em up tho, need a better way of getting Frenzy charges, there is a frenzy on hit charm that gives you capped frenzy pretty much all the time. Put Immortal call with another CWDT and it saves you 3 sockets

But do you know that 50% more effect of chill works with frostblink? cold dmg there is higher than lightning Yes, frenzy on hit charm will be very good here, but this char was made in previous leagues, so it's on standard now, that's why no charms. Where should be immortal call? I wanted it to have inc duration support

get more dps, avoid aoe hits, explosions. Buy 3 reservation charms (26-28% total at least) and add Aspect of the Spider. Also don't forget to upgrade pantheons, get life leech from Glorious Vanity or large cluster

I haven't tried it on affliction empowered monsters, build is on std atm, so can't say anything. Blue altars were ok previously, but need to be careful with minus light res one, can be suicide from rings

funny how you don't even bother to use your brains to take a look at the date of publishing this video and think about prices of items in that moment. Video was published in december 2023 (that was start of 3.23 league), so prices were much lower than now in late 3.24 (when prices skyrocket, league is dead already), because almost noone used esh's amulet. Other mandatory items like rings, body are still very cheap. Only herald of thunder lvl 21 with 15-20% quality is bit more expensive, 1-2 div atm, but can use 20/20 gem which is 10-20c or so. Before writing stupid things in comments - check prices for some items at least, so you will not sound like total noob. And "most people make in entire" season - it's a number far from 7-15 div, more likely 100-200 div and many others make thousands of divs every league since even mediocre farming strategies give 10-15 divs/hour, I posted many of them recently
