Deathless A10 All Skill Points and Story Lab run using Reap Spellslinger, Exsanguinate Spellslinger, and Corrupting Fever in 3h41m52s. This run was a pretty enjoyable one to tinker with and figure out. Phys Dot Scion provides a great vehicle to use spellslinger as it helps alleviate issues Phys Dot spells have such as poor cast speed and alleviate issues slinger has such as doubling up on mana cost (ie reservation and then cost when proccing spell). The build is slow in first half as it a Scion start, but improves a lot in second half of campaign.

Some Questions and Answers:
Why use spelllslinger instead of self-cast for phys dot spells?
Long and short of it is that Exsang/Reap base cast speed is really heavy/hard to deal with and can pose a lot of risk. Spellslinger allows us to use both for better damage and 'cast speed' through its trigger/proc rate. On other hand, we lose out on some great reservations. On balance though, spellslinger provides a vehicle for a much better phys dot campaign than self-cast. At some point in maps, I would switch to self-cast
When do we swap to full phys dot?
Lvl 38 when we get chain for Exsanguinate. This also allows us to make the spellslinger reservation less costly as we have given it some gem levels to improve its reservation. It also allows us time to
get sufficient currency to actually make swap as this run can be quite heavy on various currency relevant in campaign
What wand base should I use for slinger?
So one the that happens with this run setup is that you have to pay attention to your attack speed to avoid weird proc rates for spellslingers, such as attacking way faster than slinger can proc or way slower. Ideally, with slinger you want your attack speed to be just ever so slightly slower than proc/trigger rate on slinger. If you end up with very slight faster attack speed, you can self-adjust for this by doing stutter stepping/click moving between each wand attack to ensure you never have too
much deadtime between procs as you are attacking too fast. In other words, if you attack faster than proc/trigger/slinger CD what can happen is lets say sligher proc rate is .65, your attack speed is .55, to get your second slinger trigger, with .55 you would have to attack three times as during your second attack slinger CD would not be up yet. Thus, we have to worry about over attack speed and how it lines up with slinger CD window. We can use a number of things to modulate this
such as the Frenzy attack gem itself as it has attack speed bonuses per frenzy, and Frenzy charges.
You first wand when you swap at 38 should have about 1.2 base attacks per second. You can use Frenzy right away to attack to get Frenzy Charges. However, your attack rate will be slightly faster than your proc rate, so in single target scenarions you will need to stutter-step/click move between attacks to avoid badly mistiming slinger procs. By 42ish and some XP through it (ie enough for your slinger to level up to Lvl 7 gem level), your attack rate will be just slower than
proc rate which is perfect for slinger.
At level 50 like midway through the level, you should swap to a 1.3 base attack speed wand as your slinger will level up to Lvl 10 and your attack rate will be just slightly faster again, so you will need to stutter step. At level 56ish, you no longer need to stutter step once your slinger levels up to Gem Lvl 13.

So, spellslinger reservation is very heavy early on and most of the damage over time multi supports have high mana multipliers. As a result, we try to be as efficient as we can, where we can. Additionally, because we are using exsang, reap, corrupting fever, and a bunch of lifetaps on utility skills our lifecosts are kind of out of control. Its not so bad when clearing since you have flask sustain, but on single it can be spooky. Life Leech helps us get around this problem. Obviously, as you get more sustain and reservation efficiency you can drop this for something else. We also go down this route because we don't path to Hearty and Cannibalistic Rite during campaign (would do so in maps) as we need a number of things elsewhere and can get good dmg, life, attack speed, and attributes, which all solve a lot of problems, by heading up towards templar and then to spiritual aid

Is it possible to do a super-fast leveling strat like this but focused on deadeye wander? I am just asing because I have seen very few videos detailing it and I don't know where to come up with the strat for something like this. I know speedrunning like this is more than just being fast, you need a very accurate plan too.

Not OP. I assume most people would want to level it as bows as that's much faster, especially nowadays with all the buffs. And swap to wander in maps.

So to be honest, I haven't really tried deadeye wander, so I can't really recommend how I would path/do it because a lot of the time with campaign speed leveling builds, there are a lot of issues that you need to solve at various points of run which will not be apparent on PoB at all and different options to do so. Without doing a fair number of testing runs and various different PoB setups, can't really tell
Ok, my goal is to league start Aura/Armour stacker Smiter which is very expensive, I want to play 20h/day for the first week, and I wanna swap to it like end of day 3 or 4. I don't want to level another class and reroll, it's annoying...last time I did this 3.21 but I did RF Ascendant and it was kinda mid...This I REALLY like how it turned out while leveling, my question is this brother: - How smooth this build is for Atlas clear tier 1 to tier 16 maps and normal bosses like exarch/eater? Have you tried it or seen anywhere? I also want to know if this build requires investment to keep going up to t16 etc? Cause RF is kinda SSF/very cheap to clear but its not great on Ascendant...please answering these would help a ton

Unfortunately, I don't have much experience mapping with this build, and as a result, I don't want to recommend you one way or another about the build as I don't want to mislead you in anyway with something I don't have much expertise on myself. Instead, this build was intended to be campaign speed leveling build, which you can use as a framework for a smooth and solid campaign experience on scion if your build takes you to left side of tree. Beyond that, it starts becoming your path to walk. Best I can do regarding mapping is recommend you see if any well respected creators have something similar out there with some variation of phys dot scion and if the gameplay, how its built, the offensive numbers, defensive numbers, and general playability of the build serves your purpose. One way you can potential test your self without fully leveling a new scion/ascendant if you a blank one around is just buy the gems in the video from vendor, equip roughly end of campaign level gear (essentially just resistance gear, might have some life crafts here in there), and test how early maps feel, how things progress, and such. One major thing with campaign speed level builds versus how mapping builds end up is that the passive point allocation ends up getting spread out way more as points/clusters that may be too far to reasonably get in campaign given power curve requirements to have a smooth run will become reasonable in maps. As a result of this, a good campaign leveling build will almost always require adaptation from the tree for campaign to what you will end up with maps. Given this, it is hard for me to predict how the build will perform and even further how the perform will in a trade environment because I rarely, if at all play trade, which means how I judge power level will be different from a trade enabled scenario

Is there an endgame POB for this? Maybe even ssf viable? I love exsanguinate but cant make it work in pob cuz im too stupid

I play SSF typically, so I can't really be much help on the investment/cost front. As a result of that if you are in a trade circumstance, we might differ pretty greatly on how we see its capability. Phys Dot Scion has been played successfully in maps/endgame for a decent while now, it will not have juiced damage, it won't have juiced speed, and it won't have juiced defenses. Instead, you'll get reliable damage, reliable clear, and decent to good surviability depending on how you end up building it and when you transition/manage the transition to self-cast. Ultimately, I would take a look around and see if you can find phys dot scion builds from well known creators examine the PoBs or watch gameplay and see if it looks like something you'd enjoy and/or has numbers you'd like to see whether it be offensively, defensively, or investment wise. If it feels like it be a decent fit for what you want to accomplish and feels like it would be enjoyable for you to play, throw a couple practice runs at both leveling and mapping and see if that holds up. Obviously, this is a bit of a non-answer, but I don't want you to have some grand expectations about Phys Dot Scion. The value of the build will be relative to what you want out of it, what playstyles you enjoy, and other builds you could play

Since we all know starting scion in league is always a bit tricky, I was actually looking forward to build which can help me finish with atlas and in the meantime to generate currency and switch to another scion build as my main because we all know how re-leveling can be tedious and specifically if you are planning at least 3 builds per season. Ok I mean I will give it a try, so far your version for leveling at least is very good and yes, I will not finish campaign in 3 hours and 40 min, I will be happy with even 5 hours, I was just wondering if I would be able to clear atlas with it to fund another build. Now I think i would. I mean I dont want to farm ubers or spend way too much time investing in levels and gear. Thank you once again on feedback, and quick question, after I show your few builds to my friend he asked me to ask you if there is any chance for some minion build speed run before 3.22 ?

Probably not as my area of experience/proficiency in PoE lies much more in early game/campaign. I like doing these various runs as it can allow people to see different ways to level using a variety of builds and archetypes. Some like the RF + Fire Trap inquis have a lot of mapping resources for them already and thus my leveling builds that sort of have well established builds in mapping/late game already as a stepping stone/way to get through early game and then transition to that build.

Not currently. Its scuffed in a lot of ways that need to be addressed before I feel comfortable releasing to public as I because I am aware of certain ways it scuffed, I can account for it and play around it, but don't want to release filter to public without fixing those issues first

Why occultist? I thought about doing phys DoT on Ascendant before, but I'd probably go Necro in end-game, as you can get full block with Bone Offering and Glatiator. Before that, PF and Trickster are generically good. Edit: I think they nerfed Gladiator. Wasn't it +15% for both spells and attacks, and 25% instead of 20% more Phys dmg over time? That makes quite the difference, as reaching block cap gets so much harder. Guess Champion stays the only real choice for phys DoT.

Was for second curse in terms of damage for campaign (didn't end up slotting second since I didn't have sockets for it). You can definitely do block on Necro endgame. Which one you go depends on whether you want the extra curse or extra block scaling from necro for defense endgame. Either way, at face value, one of those would appear to be strong options. I'm sure there might other good combos for second class ascendancy.

Haven't mapped with it any extensive manner, but generally most builds that are not critically defective in some major manner can do so. How well they do it will differ significantly, but because I haven't mapped extensively nor do I have an accurate gauge of how you play and what you're looking to get out of it, I can't really give you a good answer here

I have a bleed sunder glad run that I completed that I need to do PoB/YT Description for, but I'm considering rerunning it and tweaking some things actually. Either way, there will be some sort of bleed gladiator run before league start. Bleed isn't in the best state right now, but I enjoy the archetype a lot

Don't play ruthless whatsoever, so with the traditional and easily accessible defensive layers you get in non-ruthless scenarios, I can't tell you whether this would be remotely surviveble in ruthless. However, phys dot scion has been used in prior Gauntlets successfully for class-based rankings, which implies at a minimum, a decent base level of potential survivability (not considering player skill which be a massive determinant on how successful at surviving you actually are in practice)
