Podcast 3 // Cardi Jumper, Sunday Socks, nerdy neck lights and chatting expat life
Not a lot of finished knit projects but there is a lot of progress! I’ve finished my knitted Cumulus Tee by PetiteKnit and I have reconsidered my stance on knitting another. Thanks so much for sharing more about your life. I love the knitting part of these videos but I always find the ‘sit and chat’/‘life update’ sections the most fascinating. People have such varied and interesting lives.

So happy to hear this. I never know if people care but everyone left nice comments about the more personal stuff so I'll start to incorporate more of that
Hi! Loved your podcast, it was very nice to hear how you decided to move away and you went about it🤗🤗
Love your podcasts. Thanks for the link to Patty tutorials. I have avoided magic loop but will try again. The ssk has been a bit of an issue for me, too. Congratulations for a lovely finish of your cumulus tee. Looks so very nice.

This trick for magic loop seems to really work for me so hope you have the same experience. She has such great advice!
Great podcast episode. When I got my neck light, I sent my dad a very nerdy photo of me wearing it and he thought it was very cool and that he wants one for fishing at night 😂 Very interesting to hear about how you and your husband ended up in Amsterdam!

You’re an influencer! 😂
I was thinking about getting one of these lights. Maybe I should do it now. That was really interesting to hear something about you, your life and family. 🙂 Greetings from Poland! 😉

You should do it! Cheap and useful
I love your cumulus tee, the colour looks lovely on you ! I think you might have persuaded me to start one ....;) As someone who has moved countries a couple of times, it was interesting to hear about your "big" move too.

It’s definitely worth knitting as it’s a lovely top!
Love your knitting projects! I just started knitting and I'm looking for inspo, I'm a crocheter mostly. My husband and I are also planning on moving to Amsterdam in 2025! Would love to hear more about your experience moving and living there. I also work in marketing! I'm a market researcher working in project ops. I would love to hear more about your experience on the job hunt! I'm so happy I found your channel.

Hi Kayla, thanks for watching! I see you followed me on Insta so I'll send you a DM so we can chat about your move. Very exciting for you two!
Neck lights are the best, don’t let your husband make you feel bad about getting those. 😅 Thanks so much for sharing about your journey to Amsterdam and career. As someone who also came to Prod Mgt “late” in their career it’s nice to know it’s not just me. Can’t wait to hear more about your ideas for digital tools for knitters!

Thanks Sara! I think almost every PM I know of have hired above 30 seemed to stumble their way into that role via other paths. It’s only lately that I’ve been seeing more and more who intentionally went to school for that path. I love it though cause having so many different ways into the role also brings lots of perspectives and skill sets.
I have the neck light and have for s few years. It’s my favorite tool. I used it on the plane to see better. You’re not a nerd. My husband teases me too 😊
Great podcast Sheri, your Cumulus Tee looks lovely on you. I've loved getting to know you better too. 😊
