Very nice! That's a good piece to have, for sure. I plan to buy one for adding to my own outdoor gear, sometime in the future.

I have this axe for a while and I really am trying to love this thing because of how cool it looks like an bearded Viking axe but other than chopping kindling this thing can't chop small logs. Every time I tried chopping it feels like I'm just smacking the axe on to the log even though I got it sharpened from my local knife store. I'm thinking the axe head profile is a little too wide with a convex edge to not be able to stick and dig it into the wood that well.

I know that his is not an unboxing video, but have you ever gotten anything of of Blade City. I have seen a lot of ads about them but also a lot of good review, and some not the best. But i was wondering what your thought on them were, and if you ever decided to get a set from them or a mystery box that would be cool so that I, and everyone else, to see how good their products are.

Good looking little axe, a friend of mine owns one and loves it but for me the price is too high for something I would likely have to rehang because every hang I see on these makes me twitch. Yes, I know it isn't a functional issue and these are pretty good units overall.

Production edges never come sharp. I would class that axe edge as sharp by any means to begin with. Does that make it bad? No. Will I order one? Yes. I have a CRKT tomahawk and spent about 2hrs with a file, stone and strop to put an edge on it. Now shaving sharp. MY preference. Good company good products would definitely buy more. Good work on the demo.

Hunting? Like decapitating a harvest of small game? Also, coming on the boa constrictor hunt in the Everglades I need something that will remove the head in one swing. Will this do the trick

I ordered this because I saw other bearded axe heads available, mostly a beautiful damascus, but they looked thin and I don't think damascus steel from etsy is as good as this. I wanted something cool, and multi-purpose I could beat the crap out of. CRKT knives have been good to me, and if this thing performs over time like my 20 dollar orange handled Fiskar's hatchet, I'd say it's money well spent.

Etsy damascus porducts are all made in pakistan and are terrible metal quality they are brittle and delaminate.

Own it, Got it from AFFES. Looks Awesome! In reality Sucks, the blade curve in relation to the handle is simply not optimal for chopping. Does anybody that has made one of these videos have more than a hour or two invested in actually trying to use this ax? This fool is chopping kindling....

I LOVE it when ignorant people post what they think are smart comments! People who don't know that most are bevels are ground wide and not as sharp as knives - so when swung down on softer materials - like rope or string - it tends to just push it into the wood rather than actually cut it. But you know, the internet is FULL of of ignorant people who comment without actually knowing what they are saying. You can tell them bu the way they use emojis like teenage girls, instead of actual adult words!

@@DocP91B You are not only sexist, but your absurdity really has no bounds. This video is and has to be the worst review of any item on YT today. I actually teach survival, and for over 25 years have lived in a wood, what do you do❓ sit in front of your tv and watch propaganda 24/7 I should imagine, when an advert comes on you quickly open you pc and go on YT and using linguistic gymnastics think you are being clever, well your not. YT is open to everyones comment, and without any doubt the cheapest nastiest axe will cut through a piece of para chord, no one wants to see this and its definitely not a review.Speaking of childish, this is exactly how a child would think they were reviewing something. As to "emojis" you should learn how to use them, it would help you so much as you wouldn't have to sit with a dictionary trying desperately to use words that are really irrelevant and rude. I imagine you must be a sad and nasty person.Anyway I'll leave you to graze in peace❗️
