Yo, my dad got me into you (plini) a couple of years back, and god is your music amazing. I've been listening to your music for I don't know how long. I can't wait for my chance to go to a concert!

Plini with Jakub Zytecki and Sungazer in SLC at a 600 person venue, 10ft from the stage... hands down best show I've ever been to. You deserve to go massive and play sold out stadiums, but then again, I really hope I get the opportunity to catch you in an intimate venue like that again. Thank you, your music is a gift my brother!

Hey! I was there too! His merch guy gave me the signed Handmade cities album! And before the show my friend and I grabbed a bite to eat at Small Cheval's down the street and the whole band was chilling there eating too. I've never been star struck, or one to fan-out but I sure did that day. Couldn't even work up the courage to thank them for their music. Didn't want to bother them while they were eating, really.

At the Montreal show I remeber them playing this song but before they started playing Plini addressed the crowd saying "the next song is a serious song, so cirlce pit guys, we're going to need you to circle pit seriously." The next thing I see is every single circle pit guy putting their hands on each others shoulders forming a circular conga line while slowly walking and bouncing up and down in rhythm with the song. Needless to say Plini and Jake were smiling the with biggest grin I've ever seen.

I just caught the concert in Seattle two nights ago. Plini and Co. were all spot on, but I sure wish it would have sounded like this. Instead, nearly all of the lush atmospherics (synthesizers, etc.) were lost, and too often the subtle guitar passages were as well. There were some beautiful moments of sonic clarity, but mostly everything was overpowered by the kick drum and the bass guitar. I'm entirely confident that this had nothing to do with the band, and everything to do with the venue. Both of the opening bands (which were also quite good) suffered from the same problem, no matter who was running the mixing console. Perhaps the room had insufficient accoustical treatment, or maybe the speaker array just isn't well-suited for the space. Whatever's wrong, I hope they can fix it, because artists of this caliber shouldn't have their music compromised by poor sound quality. They deserve better, and so do their listeners.

Yeah I was there too... It was a major bummer with how poor the sound was in there, though probably better than Showbox Sodo! I felt like Jake was way louder than Plini, I could barely tell what he was doing, even though I'm such a nerd I know like every note of every song. Nonetheless it was a great show and I was super stoked to get a chance to see him live.

They're sitting a bit forward in the mix,just enough to be annoying, I'm a drummer and they bother me too,they just need dialling back a bit,plus they sound a bit shitty as far as hats go,but oh well.
