It's so weird NOT seeing Plini play a Strandberg now, it's almost like his signature thing ;p

This guy is going to go places. There are many amazing players out there with tons of chops and versatility but only few have the musicality, inventiveness, style, tone, touch and the compositional sense and Plini has 'em all. He reminds me a lot of Guthrie but he's got his own thing going on musically and that's a very rare thing these days. He's a composer indeed. Very refreshing.

Yeah I haven't even gotten to the point where I can come up with an original guitar piece and mix some MIDI drums over it. :( Hopefully I will be there soon though! (but not even on the level of this)

In-room sound of string strokes is adding an interesting kind of atmosphere to this video.
His playing is so good he doesn’t need to plug his guitar in
You don´t need drugs when you just can get this for free and it's absolutely healthy for your body and mind. You listen to this guy playing and it's like having a trip elsewhere.
I don't know why but I get this rushing happiness senstion everytime that pinch harmonic at 2:57 plays. Amazing work, Plini!
Thanks to this song, I now know what 'tears of joy' feels like! Just went ahead and bought it. Plini you rock my world!
I cannot express to you how much I adore your music. It takes me places man. I basically trip when I listen to your music. You are one of the most talented artists I have ever seen. Please keep going
It's amazing the progress and evolution of your music style! This sounds pretty wild and powerfull, but the most recent songs/records sounds more refined, more stylish! #pliniRocks
I can't begin to tell y'all how many times I've listened to this song! When I first listened to this, this was such a nice song. Then I've listened it over and over until I knew it by heart. Then I started listening with good headphones, and started listening closely to all of the details, such as tone, drum mixing, orchestral sounds etc. Then I started to listen to this to get an upbeat energetic feeling. Then I had it as my alarm clock sound, and I never grew tired of it! And now I'm still returning to this so much! For the emotions packed in it, for dreaming about being able to play this one day with my guitar, and for trying to wrap my head around how even the parts are built up 😂. And of course for at least trying to play the "simple parts".
ya 9 años y no deja de sorprender como la primera vez y el renombre de plini entre los mejores guitarristas de prog actuales.
the last 15 seconds is awesome
I cannot even remember the last time I was so impressed by a piece of music. It's so powerful, kickass, and awesome, but also completely uplifting and really happy at the same time. This is literally - and I really do mean literally - one of the greatest songs I've ever heard
This is one of my all time favourite songs! And now I'm listening to it with good speakers, I hear the tiny things so much clearer and better! It's a joy to be able to listen to music like this! Thanks a lot, Plini!

Those clothes look comfy as hell.
I watched this around 5 years ago and immediately became a fan. I can't believe how far he's come as a composer. Really cool. The lack of Strandberg does feel wierd now though. 😂
How many times did I listen to it? I don't know, each time each different feel. Thank you very much.
it's like frank zappa and dream theater on steroids - love it!!

I explain Plini as: Steve Vai and Mozart had a baby, and the baby was was nanny'd by Chick Corea... and Chick always had Djent playing the background.
HOLY CRAP it took me forever to finally figure it out! I was always struggling trying to figure out where I'd heard this song before, like it just seemed to familiar to me. I knew who it must have been so I flipped through my Dream Theater collection and it is (the first and last sections, at least) the same chords and progression as Solitary Shell (or at least the ending acoustic solo section) and that's why it also made me happy. It is such a happy, joyful, sunny day kind of sound that I love. Well done, Plini! It took me 1 and 1/2 years to figure it out but I figured it out! :) What a great song

That uni bend to double harmonic whammy dive gets me everytime. Kinda like a futur sonic the hedgehog song. And the pinch harmonic two tone in the riff before the solo. So damn good

Robert Giovanni Also drugs, money, narcissism and how these things make you cool which is also a proponent of manipulation whether it's intentional or not, younger audiences are attracted to it and some even make their life based on these things. I've known first hand. I was that "gangster" kid in HS. They base the rest of their life off of shit they hear in these songs.

powerfull freaking intro , loved the riff , and so as the pinch harmonic , right where was expected n loved the idea of it , nailed it dude
This is the most Steve Vai sounded shit I've ever heard that wasn't written by Steve Vai.
Plini makes so good music he can make a music video with his guitar unplugged without having any trolls pointing it out in the comment section
This dude has chops for days!
Unquestionably amazing, as always! Brightened up my day of impending calculus final studying.

Love watching Plini play. Such great vibrato, careful phrasing, catchy melodies and tight playing. I see/hear influences of Petrucci and Vai although his music is really different than both of them.
