How to feed
1. Mix powder and water; we recommend to use the 1:3 ratio (1 part of food for 3 parts of water). In this video we show how to prepare 40 grams of DIY Plecoceramics paste ( 10 grams of powder and 30 grams of water). 10 grams of powder is enough to feed a group of 4-6 plecos for 2 days. Peckoltia species and larger Hypancistrus species may require a little bit more food. Try to use scales for a more precise preparation.
2. Stir thoroughly.
3. The resulting mixture can be applied directly on the flat feeding surface. We highly recommend to use stones with a porous structure. We use Sandstones for spreading food on the Plecoceramics farm.
4. Let the prepared stones dry in open air or using a fan. You can also put the stones on a warm surface to dry them faster. The faster they dry the better. Don’t dry stones with a temperature above 50 degrees celsius or 122 fahrenheit.
5. Now it is ready to use. You can prepare the food for 3 days and it will stay fresh but keep it dry and out of direct sunlight below 25 degrees celsius.
The best moment for feeding is just before the light switch off. If there is any food uneaten after 4-5 hours, the quantity of food should be reduced.

Yes we already have a distributor in Australia, pls contact to Blake Lynch. As for food, we will not sell it to distributor because we produced limited stock. Some ingredients extremely hard to find.

Hi Leo, usually we put stones with a paste on a warm surfaces. and food dries within 1-2 hours. The faster you dry it the better

Hi, we've got your order. It depends on the quantity of fish you have, 10 grams of dried powder is enough to feed the group with 4-6 fish for 2 days
